I usually go to this jewel osco but never again. I am very upset with the representation they have hired to be their cashier. The cashier asked for someone to come to her open lane as only one was open and I was the only person that went to her lane. Not realizing shes a express lane, I continued to go and she didnt mention anything until a person comes to the line behind me and starts making comments that I dont have 15 or less items. As I apologized and told him that the cashier asked me to go to that lane, she begins to agree with him that I have too many items after she finished ringing me up. The man starts to say racist comments for me "to go back to my country" blah blah and then says that he will call Trump on me...I was even more upset that the cashier agrees with him and says yea to the comments the customer was making. I will be up there tomorrow to talk to a manager as they claimed manager wasnt there cuz it was closing hours.

This is the worst Jewel on the planet! Many times they had old fruit and veggies and they charged for these regular price. Bananas look like somebody threw them towards the wall and then put them on the shelf. Watch expiration dates and quality of packaged food. I found mold on the bread and prepacked buns. Also recently they removed self checkout and put fast lines which means that wait time is ridiculous. I am not going to mention floors and walls. Store looks like from late 70s. Awful, expensive and horrible. Store manager should also understand that shopping carts need to be either fixed or replaced time to time. It is so annoying when your cart turns only left during your shopping.

Since they removed self checkout this store has rapidly declined. I try to avoid this store all together but sometimes its the only option. They consistently have only one lane open and it takes longer to checkout then to fill my cart. Theres a older lady named Marie there who is so frustrating. Shes rude, rushes you to put your money away and actually rolls her eyes. I have complained to managment about her before when she told me she didnt feel like price checking something for me. To make things worse they have her at the customer service desk when thats her biggest weakness.

Very nice cashiers, who make it happen day in and day out. Clean store, shelves are always organized and neat. Store is well lit and labeled, so finding what you need is a breeze. Customer service could be open early, and they could re-introduce a point system or loyalty programs for frequent shoppers. They did however slash prices, in order to simplify their operations and increase sales. If you need something fast, this is the place to go.

I am only rating the pharmacy. We were traveling through the area and unexpectedly needed some prescriptions filled. The pharmacist was fantastic, working hard to get our out-of-state insurance information figured out so that we didnt have to pay a ton of money. While he was doing that, he was greeting other customers on a first-name basis. This was much better than what I expected when randomly stopping in to this grocery store pharmacy.

Long lines at checkout. Its a shame because their produce, meat, and fruit is great. Just that they took out the self-checkout and replaced them with "express lanes." The concept clearly isnt working because with the decreased manpower the open check stands are few and the lines very long.

Long time customer of jewel store, I go to this one, no too often anymore, employees,prices, organization sucks, employees have the worst attitude,and in many cases merchandise is not priced , Buttera is my regular store now, for every dollar you spend in buttera add .50 cents in jewel

Literally watched NOT ONE manager protect two employees who got violently verbally attacked and had pictures taken of them against their will from a customer in line,while management did nothing to stop the situation!!! Unprofessional and disgusting! NEVER shop here.

This location has always been one of my favorites. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking spaces. Offered many different services. Has a TCF in it. The way its organized makes it easy to find what you need. Pretty spacious and not necessarily a crowded place.

Found all items i was shopping for and there was fresh fruit and vegetables . Little expensive as compared to shopping in New Orleans. I will return during my short stay while here in Schiller Park!

This Jewel is close to home and open late for last minute needs. If I get off work at 10 or 11 at night I still have time to skip to the grocery store for last minute items of needed.

Jewel is a pretty standard grocery store. My main complaint is that theres never enough cashiers, and they removed the self checkout.
