This used to be my favorite store but not anymore. Aldis makes you rent carts for .25 cents. They have always done this and its annoying. They are also getting away from their mission of providing quality food at low prices as prices are very close to Meijer now. They constantly move stock around. I go to Aldis twice a month. The last three times I have been, everything has been moved and shifted around and I cant find what I am looking for. They are also very inconsistent in what they stock. If you find something you like, stock up on it because it probably wont be there next time or you wont be able to find it. They do take debit cards now and their hours are greatly improved.

Excellent products and although commonly busy, decently fast service. However, the cashiers are rather rough with your products and tend to forget that their consumers are PURCHASING these products. The last cashier I had gave me excellent service and was careful with my purchases, until the trainer came up and started criticizing her hard work. The trainer then carried on to toss my items around as if it was junk! Later as I walked out to my car, I noticed she succeeded in damaging some of the purchases that I had made. There for excellent products, with lousy sale practices.

One of my go to grocery stores. This place is great for price, produce and speed. The cashiers here can process 5 carts full of items in less than 10 minutes. Really fast, however, I would advise to steer clear near the beginning of the month during normal hours because it can be very busy.

I shop there because usually the prices are better. But at least once a month, the price at the register is more than posted prices in the store. Today I got 4 bags of cranberries, marked 12oz, NONE were 12 oz. The lowest was 11.2 oz. , the most was 11.8 oz.

The layout of the store is awful now. I cant figure out why they would put fresh produce and the bread on the first aisle an then place the can goods on the last one so you have to pile them on top! It needs more thought into how people shop!

Aldi, Grocery store in Danville,Ill. offers exceptionally fresh veggies and fruit. Eggs $.33 per dozen. 1lb. premium bacon $2.49, $.90 gal milk? And household goods very reasonably priced, (their brand)...I guess!
