Joie de vivre

A high end grocery store where everything is beautifully displayed and merchandised. They have lightweight, small carts to wheel around. There is a great meat department, breads, pies, deli, cheese section, bulk coffee beans and nuts, wine section, candy section, flowers, greeting cards, gifts, housewares, along with the usual things youd find in a grocery store only more unique and gourmet feeling.

This place is expensive. But they have a lot of one off items that you wouldnt be able to find anywhere else. The staff here is ultra friendly and willing to stop what theyre doing to help you out. Its worth the extra money to have the assistance when youre looking for something or need recommendations.

The employees are very knowledgeable about their products and go above and beyond for each customer. The atmosphere is delightful as well because there is always classical music playing in the background which helps to also enhances the shopping experience. I love this store!

Staff is always super friendly and produce is of good quality. I usually shop here for meat, and if you can catch their Tuesday sales, its a superb value. Much better than their normal competitor you can find all over northern Illinois.

Seriously amazing service. Every person talked to me more than just hows your day/weather? The music was inspiring and uplifting. Gave me that cozy feeling of fall...like the gift shop of a pumpkin farm. Surprisingly good deals, too!

Great for produce and meats. I wouldnt buy all groceries here, but often stop in for steaks or seafood - its good quality and usually properly butchered
