My husband and me have been clients of this store and others Village Discount Stores for more than 25 years, good clothes at good prices, but this is first time of my life I have a complaint about the "manager" of this store called "Yolanda" It was Saturday July 1st 2017. As always I was very glad with the good garments I found for me 2 blouses and 1 skirt. When I went to pay at the register, the Cashier looks mad and with a bad attitude, maybe was mad for something. When she took my garments, she start pulling out hard and breaking tickets, the price tickets was on the tag of the blouse and she started moving with the finger and said this are loose not sale, and took the other blouse and said again this is loose too not sale, and she took the skirt and said the same thing this is loose too, not sale. She pulled hard and broke those tickets one by one. I felt shock, very sad, because I wanted to buy it, and used next day for a special event. First time of my life that this happen to me at ones of this stores. I felt offended and very sad. I asked her who is the manager, and she said I am and you can not do anything. I asked for the supervisor of the store and she gave me the phone number of the same store (but I didnt know she gave me the same number of the store#10 where I was) When I called from the same store I saw her ran to the phone, she didnt know it was me. She then gave me another Phone number (I called and nobody answered) thats why I decided to write this e-mail to whom It may concern!!! If this manager "Yolanda" doesnt have a good attitude with clients she doesnt deserve been attending clients in a register.

There is a VDO right next to where I live, but I actually prefer this one. Not sure if its because its in the middle of Roscoe Village, when I stopped by here when I had some time before going to dinner and the selection was definitely better, and things like the suits, were very easy to find the size you need. Im not sure if Id make the trip just to shop here, but if I was around, definitely would stop by. Its a mess like many thrift shops, but thats to be expected. Worth checking out if you have some time to kill and like finding that great bargain...

Used to really like coming to this store but beware - THEY WILL CLAMP YOU FOR $140 FINE. What a joke and a waste of shopping at a thrift store. We went to this store today and shopped and paid for items in the Village Discount then went next door to get a bite to eat and came back to find the vultures in the parking lot had clamped our car tire and made us pay $140. Dont even shop here because the parking lot attendants are vultures waiting to make a buck. Horrible place. Horrible people.

This store usually always has a great selection of clothing. I can always find great brands for an amazing price. The staff can be rude at time and cant always communicate in english well but I continue to go because of the selection. I also do not like the fact that they constantly change tags to any color that isnt half price. Ive seen them do this on multiple occasions but all the Village outlets do this. Happy Thrifting.

Good/actual thrift store prices for most everything, they have most everything between upstairs and down, and they have good holiday sales. The only thing that gets me a little is that their clothes arent exactly some according to size much, so you have to sift through them a little more carefully and no changing room...but other than that - go there, its one of the good one(s).

I love this place because they are good about moving merchandise and adding new selection. They are nice, NICE, and accommodating, unlike many shops of this nature. Their prices are fair and their sales arent a chaotic mess--they got it down! You can find just about everything you are looking for second hand. Not one disappointment in 10 years.

Best thrift store in the area. 1/2 priced items everyday. %50 off everything sales unilateral once a month. The Monday after everything is on sale the books are ten for a dollar. Bring your own bag though. They started charging for bags.
