This is my favorite place to thrift in Chicago. The great clothes and other items you can find here are awesome. There is always unique stuff to find that nobody else will have and i have found tons of cute high waisted shorts (Levis brand!) and adorable earrings that I wear ALL the time. I always bring friends to this one and it has become a regular spot to thrift for myself and my friends. I can spend hours here going through every article of clothing on every rack. I recently bought 5 dollar rainboots and 10 dollar birkenstocks here. What a steal! They were in great quality still. This location is convenient located right next to the Western blue line.

A little bit raggedy and not in a good way. No real great finds here. If you want something very very cheap that isnt that great this might be the place. There are much better thrift stores in the area even just a couple blocks down. That said if its winter and you need to pick up a quick pair of gloves and scarf you can come with two bucks and have a stop gap for the night until you get something a luttle nicer. Book selection is weak. Might find a halfway decent filing cabinet if design isnt on your mind. It is what it is. A low rent thrift shop...

As an avid thrifter, I found this place exciting and wildly overwhelming. Its one of those places where you can smell the treasure, but you know it may take you a few hours of digging--REAL digging--to find the gold. • Two floors of mens and womens clothing • The 1/2 off sales are not to be missed • They also sell jewelry, furniture, home decor, glassware, children clothes, etc. Would easily drive the 2.5 hrs from Peoria just to shop here. Not to mention theres a wickedly good ramen shop named Wasabi thats a block up the street.

Personally I love thrift shops and this one is huge great discounts daily and you find awesome things it has a mens section upstairs and furniture downstairs entire shoe section womens and children highly recommended ! Just remember if something is missing a price tag they wont sell it but they will be able to put a price by the next day they give u a paper with the information to pick up next day. Wish it was more simple to get a price on something !!!!!

Very disrespectful and rude in this company supervisors store managers.. They were disrespecting me as a customer and also as an employee I was working there for two weeks they never gave me a schedule to work .. And as I went into the store to look for things they told me that I would have to exit the store..I cannot come in the store at all I told him why they tell me because I used to be an employee here and employees cant shop in the store..

This place is either wonderful, or a disaster, depending on how you like your thrift stores. If youre looking for well-curated "vintage" -this is NOT the place for you. If you dont mind digging hard for a food find, then this will be more youre style. Huge selection, but also messy. I liked this place- and easily spent an hour lolly gagging through the aisles. A few hipster shoppers. Lots of families- definitely worth checking out.

Everything u need you can find it at village discount outlet on Milwaukee Ave. they have great men jean brands from old navy to Levis to Burberry. If u need to find a treasure youll find it there I been going for two years to this location and I have not looked back ever since. Totally recommend it to anyone go see for yourself best thrift store ever and customer service is great there too.

This is a huge thrift store where it is possible to spend hours. Its not the most organized, but everything kind of has its place. The selection is mostly clothes, although there are some home goods. If youre a patient thrifter with a couple hours to spare, Id recommend stopping in. Very, very reasonable prices!

This is a good place to get your shopping fix--sifting through the racks for hours for a good gem. Although some of their stuff is overpriced, Village Discount is better than most thrift stores in their selection and affordability. I recommend going their on their Discount Days when they have exceptional days.

The store is great for clothing and some great finds. It has decent service and a good amount of general stuff. The smell as as another reviewer mentioned was mostly fixed during the recent minor repairs that was just finished last month. It feels a bit cleaner and better than before.

Very well organized, for a HUGE store. You can find anything here, from designer to regular. Very coming up on vintage, found plenty vintage tommy, screenstars, salem sportswear. Very surprised with what you can find. Really recommend coming here.

We travel from Elkhart, IN. to this store to buy a years worth of my toddlers clothes. Most of the times I find almost brand new items or in good condition items. But all I do is wash it all as soon as I arrive to my washing machine back home.

Great selection of items. Fairly well organized. They dont sell any items without prices clearly listed which is a good rule but can also be annoying if you find something you like without a price. Not the best thrift store but very decent.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the area. Its the only one that actually feels like a proper bargain hunt. With two sprawling floors youre sure to find something to take home with you, and at a hefty discount off retail, no less!
