Using Comset Computers was a Nightmare! After an initial 2-3 day estimate they ended up having my computer for a month and kept giving me the run around. My monitor went black one day so I took it into them and they said it would be a quick, simple fix (on November 11th). I was given a 2-3 day estimate. Well, after about 6 or 7 days I had to call and they claimed the part was not in yet. Another 4-5 days pass, and I again have to call for an update. Comset said the part came in, however, it was faulty and they needed to order a new part. After a few more days, I received a call saying my computer was fixed. I went over to pick my computer up, and it was another customers computer! I could not believe it. They put my receipt on the wrong computer! For a full day they could not tell me where my computer was located! The next day, when they finally found my computer, I told them I simply wanted to pick it up and wash my hands of this already horrible experience. Their response was, "You can pick it up, but its in pieces." Comset is now telling me I have a motherboard issue and they had to tear open my computer! At no point did I give them authorization to do this; they simply did it on their own and were telling me after the fact! To make the situation even worse, after many frustrated phone calls I was finally able to pick it up on Dec. 5th and at pick-up they told me about yet another problem and part that would cost extra! Hands-down the WORST experience I have ever had through a business. I would highly suggest you go with another company. Comset has no customer service abilities as they are highly unorganized and totally lack communication (I was always the one calling for an update). The most frustrating part was seeing on my receipt "part ordered on Nov. 18th," meaning it took them a week just to order the original part! NEVER EVER use Comset!

Just needed the fan replaced on my laptop. They said theyd look at it and call me back later that day. They didnt. Called them the next day and they hadnt even looked at it yet, but would right away and call me right back. They didnt. Called the next day. Said they ordered the part and it would take three days(!) and would call. They didnt. After three days I had to call yet again. They said it would definitely be ready in two more days and would call me. They didnt. Called again today and its still not ready. So, its now been a week and they still havent even touched it. An entire week (and counting) just to replace a fan. Plus theyre going to charge me 40 bucks for labor. Absolutely horrible. Update: Its been two weeks now and they still havent replaced the fan. So Im giving up. Now they cant even tell me when they can put it back together for me to come and pick it up. Unbelievable.

2 problems. I agreed to leave my computer there to have it sped up by removing viruses, spyware etc. The guy told me it would take 2 days. I went by at the end of the 2nd day and they hadnt even looked at it. No one called me - nothing. I couldve been using it all that time. Who knows when I wouldve gotten it back. Second, I got home and realized that I had left my printer driver disc in the drive and it wasnt there when I got it home. When I called to ask them about it the owner was not even willing to look in the messy work area beyond a quick glance. He just told me to go get new drivers from the internet. He said he would look and call me if he found it but I knew before he hung up the phone that he had no intention of doing it. I will look for a more professional computer service in the area.

Thomas is a great guy and his staff can fix just about any computer issue you might have. He does just about everything so he is usually my first call if I have questions about a computer issue, new computer, wiring in my business or my house. He even sets up CCTV systems. Comset will keep your computer happy and healthy.

Awesome experience at Comset. My computer would not start up and I took it in to be looked at. They opened it up, quickly discovered the problem (bad RAM stick), and fixed it. They didnt even charge me! Ill definitely be going back if anything ever goes wrong again.

I had a great experience at Comset. Found them through a Groupon deal a while ago and was pleased. Really helpful. Reasonable price. Personable and non-rushed customer service. And my computer was fixed fast. Such a positive change from Best Buy or Micro Center.
