Terrible. My brother dropped his Samsung Galaxy S2 right before he went on vacation and shattered the inner glass. My mom and I took it into CPR for him because to get a quote. The guy told us it would be $145 and hed give us a six month warranty. We went back home and waited for my brother to get back to talk it over and he decided he would do it. So my brother went in one week later to get it fixed and then they said it would be $185 and no mention of a warranty. When my brother told my mom about the $40 increase in one week she called them and told them what she was told the prior week and they literally had nothing to say about it. My mom told them not to touch the phone and the guy claimed that it was already fixed. Then my mom asked to speak to the owner and the employee didnt even know who the owner was. She then asked to speak to a manager and he said the manager wasnt there. After more yelling suddenly the employee panics and says, "Oh actually my manager is here" and puts him on the phone. After hearing my moms story the manager asks what employee told her it was $145 and she didnt know because why would you get the name of the employee when you go in for a quote and have no problem with the guy whatsoever? So then the manager blames my mom for not getting the name (total bullshit) and then my mom says fine, show me your employees and Ill point out which one gave me that price. The manager says no and then says we dont want to do business with you and we didnt touch your phone yet so come pick it up. Even though five minutes earlier they claimed the phone was already fixed. Very sketchy business. Would not recommend this place. They might fix your phone but they will rip you off. It might seem like youre getting a good deal but youre really not.

Took my motorola phone to CPR Skokie to replace cracked screen after dropping phone on concrete. They told me it would cost $235 because they had to replace the whole module. Fine. They gave me really fast service which is the only plus, but within 45 minutes the screen was coming unglued from the phone body and something was wrong with the sensor so I could not hang up the phone or use the touch pad when in a call. Also front camera did not work. I took it back and it turns out they put the wrong module in. They swapped it with the correct one within a couple of hours. Then, within a couple months, micro cracks started developing. I had not dropped the phone or handled in any way differently than before. I attribute the cracks to stresses on the glass due to the new installation, or a sub par part, or both. I also noticed the glass was wavy in spots, not as smooth as the original, making me think the replacement is of low quality. Now the cracks have propagated to the point where the phone is unusable. I called CPR and they said the warranty does not cover micro cracking. They insisted that the screen was original from Motorola. They did offer to "take a look at it and see what they can do". No thanks. Im buying a replacement newer model refurbished phone on eBay, for half the price of the repair.

My sons smartphone (HTC Evo) went through the washing machine (ugh!!). The reviews here made me a little nervous, but I was desperate to get it fixed (new contract, no insurance...long story). But these guys did an AMAZING job! They took an extremely water damaged smart phone and within a few hours, had it all fixed! I cant tell you how happy I was!! I paid a total of $90 for the repair, which was money well spent, considering how expensive these smart phones are. They were very professional, helpful and I just cant say one negative thing.

After watching cartoons with the kids on the Ipad I left it to charge overnight. In the morning nothing was turning on. I panicked. I went into the CPR location in Skokie and within 10 minutes had my Ipad back. The associate had great customer service skills, and as it was just a software update, he said, there was no charge. In the past I have had broken screens on my phone repaired at reasonable prices and also bought a used phone as a spare. This is a great place to have electronics repaired quickly and professionally.

The place is a ripoff, they are very unprofessional and careless. They quoted me 2 times with a wrong quote, and after a few days called me back asking for more money. This business is a complete scam dont give them your money, cause you will have more problems with your devices and you will be wasting your time. In fact i am going to report them to BBB DONT WAIST YOUR TIME - ITS a RIPOFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my Galaxy S3 phone screen cracked a year ago and I got it fixed at the HIP for $150.00. My phone had not worked right since then. I cracked my screen again and CPR in Village Crossing was recommended. I am sooooo happy with the results!! Its the first time my phone has worked since I bought it! They were prompt and professional. Cant describe how happy I am with my phone!

Maryanne Burgess,
This is the greatest place for cell phone repair. I had problems with my $700 phone after paying my way out of Verizons nightmare service. The new cell provider could not diagnose reason my phone would not port over to new provider but, CPR did. The customer service was kind, quick and courteous. I recommend them.

My iPhone audio port wasnt working (plug kept popping out) and they had it fixed for me within a few minutes -- at no charge! Just needed to be cleaned out. Id go back to them in a heartbeat with something more serious. They also cell iPhone ear buds for $10.00! Cant beat that!

My speaker/ringer failed on my iPhone 4S. Took it to Apple & all they would do is sell me a new phone. CPR took a look at it and for $41.80 did a great job and it has a 6 month guarantee that the speaker/ringer will keep working. Thanks! Very professional and an excellent job!

Company and this service is the worst Ive ever seen they tell you they order parts that never come and keep your phone for weeks and then they never repair it. They have many excuses for the delays but neve deliver. Dont go there if you need a quick repair.

Avoid this place at all way possible. I Took my iphone 5 for a repair since it would not charge and after they replaced charging dock 2 days after my home button would not work. They forgot to screw it in and now after i took it back it still would not work.
