Insanely overpriced, the person I spoke to was either intentionally trying to scam me, or was just dangerously incompetent. Either way, avoid this place at all costs. After upgrading a PC for my sister, we ended up with some extra RAM that didnt fit in hers, so she let me use it in my PC instead. Unfortunately, while my PC had the correct slots for the RAM (both support DDR3), the PC only supported up to DDR3 1333MHz, while the RAM from my sister was DDR 1600MHz, so I went into Computer Greeks to ask about if I could trade in the RAM I had for something of the same size, but slightly slower that my PC could deal with. They were eager to perform the trade, and would even install it for free! Unfortunately, their prices were absurd. The RAM I had can be sold on ebay for around $40, and the RAM I was hoping to trade in for around $45. On the other hand, they offered me $20 for my RAM (half its value), and were looking to charge $90 for the RAM I was buying (twice its value). While I was expecting to pay something like $5 minimum, maybe something closer to $10-15, the $70 they were asking for was insane. For the prices they were asking for the trade-in, I could have literally THROWN AWAY the memory I had, and bought it brand new off Amazon, Newegg, or any other reputable dealers and still come out far ahead of what he was asking for. When he realised I wasnt remotely interested in getting ripped off, he started trying to intimidate me into getting ripped off with some non-sense doomsday scenarios about how I could lose everything on my computer if my RAM fails, not realising or not wanting to admit that everything in RAM is already lost every time your computer is turned off.

Do not bother trying to sell anything to these guys, first I take a perfectly good printer and they tell me that they cant buy it because it did not have ink, Then I take 2 computers there to sell. first off I waited close to 30 minutes befroe someone even saw me. So then they tell me one is not worth buying, and the other they have to look at, so I waited 3 weeks and went in myself, and then they tell me that the other one is not worth anything either. and you are better off going to best buy or a different computer shop to get your computer fixed, they are really expensive.

RE: HADLEY CANINE Dont often do this review thing, but I was in Computer Greeks the same time this guy was trying to sell his memory. Long story short- the ram he was selling was low grade crap, the ram they were selling was Crucial. Somehow he wanted to get retail price on used ram and not pay retail price on new ram. The old guy behind they counter gave him good tips and told him about free programs to test the ram. The guy was too busy being a smart ass to listen to what the counter guy was saying. His loss.

For years I used Geek squad because my brother in law worked there n i would get great discounts. My sister divorced him so with no place to turn I remembered about this place from a friend and thank God I did! First off Toby I think his name is was 100% honest and, I felt comfortable just being there. I dont know a thing about computers but he got it to work again for about the third of the price of a new laptop! If you need computer repair go to them. you will be happy you did!

Not going to be flashy. If your computer is broken, this is the only place you want it going. If you need an answer or obscure part, they will have it or point you in right direction. I have been a customer of these guys for twenty years, and no matter how far away I move, I make the drive. My computer is in their shop right now. In my past I worked at both geek squad and Rex Service in worth, skill wise, these guys win hands down.

Great job. They fixed my computer in a few days and gave me for free several nice programs that were upgraded programs I had on the computer. Price was reasonable when you compare it to the vary low quality of work by the Geek Squad at Best Buy. I took it to Best Buy first and they charged me $50 and then didnt fix the problem. The people are vary nice and helpful.

Been working with these guys for years (15+). Courtesy, honesty, trust. I always leave knowing I got the straight story. If your system isnt worth fixing, they will tell you, nice! If it is worth it, turn-around time and pricing are more than reasonable.
