Quality cup Great staff Housed in a strange place Its full of (very nice) guards and business suits They spin out a great cup of coffee I bought some beans too The beans are very expensive and although I am enjoying them at home now The price is very high, even for boutique coffee so I wondered:...Why? It turns out we might be paying for their past sins of expanding too fast, a media campaign, failed investments/investors and stuffs of scandals including a temporary period of failure to pay their employees I hope they rise from the ashes equitable But for now Ill just savor this overpriced gem as a treat One I can nary afford but will enjoy anyway

This is a tough one to rate because it really doesnt fit into most coffee experiences. Its in a beautiful lobby that is a treat to visit, but it doesnt offer many places to sit (4 chairs total). That would make it good for a to go order but this type of coffee usually takes a few minutes. The coffee itself is worth a few minutes wait and of the strangeness of the location isnt an issue its a interesting pomace to check out.

As many of the other reviews have said, this location is in a lobby without much ambiance or seating. I found this to be the best coffee and friendliest baristas in all of Chicago. I was recommended to try there Ethiopian espresso and it had such bold flavors that blew me away. I ended up going back and taking a few pounds of whole bean with me

Interesting coffee counter inside the Southern entrance to the building. Beware that there is not really any seating here. That said, they seemed to have a fairly complete menu in terms of coffee. I had a black coffee on Nitro, it was good!

The coffee taste was good but I felt it was over priced. Plus they dont have seating unless you want to hand around in the building lobby.

Great cup of coffee. Size to price ratio is a bit off though compared to some of the other top notch roaster in Chicago.
