I should have turned around as soon as we entered the door. Three employees were blocking the entrance as if they were having a meeting and we we said excuse me, they couldnt even say sorry. The manager just said people always come in at the wrong time. My husband was very upset, but I was looking for a particular item that I had found at Big Lots in Homewood. So I did find the item but it wasnt on clearance as it was at rhe Homewood location. So I asked for the manager (which happened to be the same one blocking the entrance). I showed her my receipt to show her I had just bought the exact same item and sku number from Big Lots in Homewood. She said their price stands and she doesnt know why it was marked down at the other location. So I left the item there. I cant believe the same company doesnt take the same markdowns. I refused to pay double the price, because they missed a markdown in their store. I work customer service, its hard to believe a manager can see something in black and white and not try to accommodate a customer.

word of caution. anyone that purchase a mattress and/or box springs from Big Lots should not take the plastic off! if you do, buy plastic covering that encases the entire mattress and/or box spring. I purchased both and after a year I noticed bed bugs surfacing. I threw them out! I know Big Lots didnt make these, but they need to know what they are buying to sell in their stores. My friend said she purchased a mattress from a bedding store and after a year the same thing happened to her. Other than that I love Big Lots.

Love it they had a great sale. It just seems like every time i go in i know what i came to get into i see more things thats needed . And i come out with more than stuff that wasnt on the shopping list .

They have plenty of sucked shelves and usual have ad items I stock. Parking is great and there are many other stores nearby if your shopping.
