I brought my car into Dennison Toyota a couple of weeks ago because the check engine light was on and we were looking to sell the car. They evaluated the problem and called to tell me that the coolant valve needed replaced. I authorized the repair and everything was good to go. One of the people who was interested in purchasing the car decided that they wanted a Toyota dealership to do an inspection on the car before purchase. Dennison called me to let me know that the fluids needed flushed out and that there was a leak in the water pump. This sounded a little off to me considering that the car had just been in there to have the coolant valve replaced, at which point they would have seen the fluid. I did not authorize the repairs. My dad went to pick up the car and take it home to look at it. Upon examining, the fluids, they were perfectly clean and there was plenty of them. In addition, we pulled out paperwork from a 90K tune-up done 4K miles ago which indicated that the water pump had JUST BEEN REPLACED! Be very very careful, Dennison WILL take advantage of your lack of car knowledge. I feel lucky to know someone who can advise otherwise. I would never take a car there to be serviced, nor would I purchase anything from them because of their shady behavior.

Had my car towed to Dennison service center after having an emergency on the highway and getting stranded with my 2 young children and pregnant sister. We are in a completely new place - stranded at a hotel until the car is repaired. I called them at 8 am the morning after they received my car and they were completely clueless about th whereabouts of my car. Then when they found it they were rude to me and explained my problems are not theirs and they will call me when they have time to. I called them back at 11 and they said they would call me with estimate in 30 seconds. 4 hours later I had not heard from them so I called only to find out they will not be able to help me because they dont have access to Lexus parts this week!? Their suggestion was to drive the car 4 hours home with my kids even though the power steering pump is broken. Hmmmmm . . . sounds like an intelligent suggestion considering I got stranded the first time that way. NEVER GO THERE!! Completely unprofessional.

My wife and I drove 3 hours to buy a car from this dealer. The salesman assured us over the phone that the exterior of the car was in perfect condition and except for a cigarette burn in a floormat, that the car was pretty much new. I was concerned that the car might smell bad and he said that the interior of the car didnt smell like smoke. I told him that since we were out of state that we were relying on his first-hand knowledge of the cars appearance and state. When we saw the car, it was apparent that our salesman didnt do his homework. The car was covered in scratches and paint chips (at least 4 four inch scratches scattered around the car). Upon opening the car door, the stench of smoke was overpowering! There were stains on the headliner and multiple cigarette burns under the floormat as well. Needless to say, my husband and I left dissatisfied and disappointed with our wasted trip. I would strongly advise any potential buyer to beware of this dealer!

I have to say the customer service in the service department is horrible! I brought my car in for a oil test due to it using so much oil the 1st person I spoke with was polite and told me if I had any concerns to come in and they will check the oil and do everything since it has a security seal . So 300 miles down the road I bring it back in because its starting to show signs of low oil, I come into the shop the guy checks my car and comes to speak with me he starts to raise his voice and basically tell me Im an idiot because I did what the 1st tech told me to do we stood there and argued for 10mins I finally just got in my car and left because he insulted me. Now Im at the 1000 miles mark in which I need to take my car back, I checked my oil this morning I have not even a drop of oil in it because of the last tech that fought with me after this experience with these people I will never do business again I dont care if I have to drive 500miles away!

I still dont understand why they were tyring so hard to not sell the red RAV4...maybe they knew it was a gonna sell either way. But finally eveything was done and I was signing paperwork and they come back saying that my credit score is 40 points less than what I said it was. I had checked it on transunion online just a day before so I was pretty sure, but then their manager tried to show me some ancient DOS like software. They wanted me to pay 3% more APR now. I said no thank you. Went back home and checked again, the score was what I said it was. I was very angry and decided not to buy a car from them even if they call me back, but they never did. I bought a RAV4 from Chicago 2 days after at the advertised rate. Stay away....is my recommendation. Go to Chicago or Indiana for you want to buy a Toyota.

Took a friend there to look at the used RAV 4 (08/09). Were standing out in the cold for a good 30 mins and no one cared to come out to talk to us. Then, my friend had to go in to the dealership to find someone. My friend came out with a guy (quite young) and looked very arrogant and did not seem like he wanted to talk to us. We asked about the RAV 4 in general (they had quite a few parking in front of us). The dealer: "yeah, which one?" multiple times with an unacceptable attitute. I was so upset that I asked my friend to leave. I will NOT come back to this place again. I will go to Springfield, Decatur, Peoria or even Chicago, but defintely NOT do any business with this place. I will give it 0 stars if its possible. If you dont believe me, go experience it yourself.

Excellent service. I flew in and they picked me up from the airport with no charge. Once I arrived I was immediately greeted and taken where I needed to go. Before signing for my vehicle they made sure it was up to my standards and what I wanted. When it was time for the paperwork they made sure I understood all of the information that was presented to me and helped me out in every way. I personally paid a lot of money in travel to retrieve the vehicle and I am truly happy that I bought from them because I dont believe I could have got better service. My personal sales representative was amazing and I couldnt have asked for adequate help. Jared Hongsermeier was my sales representative, highly recommend getting in contact with him.

I just had a great experience here a couple days ago. Due to my work hours i couldnt get to Sam Leman till around 7:30 pm to test drive a car i was interested in. Damian Fleming was my sales rep and not only did he stay in touch with me all day till I arrived but the car was ready out front for me to test drive as soon I pulled up. I was impressed with the car and wanted to buy it. The dealership usually closes at 8pm but Damian and Brandon Baker (finance dept) stayed over till 10pm going over all my paperwork and options with me. I know people hear of horror stories at dealerships but Sam Leman Toyota gave me nothing but a smooth and pleasant experience. I recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.
