Our experience from Robert’s has been less than desirable, leaving me very disappointed in them based on the service other’s have bragged about. We purchased a used 2008 Expedition on June 1st and will be in their hands officially more than ours beginning today. It is a certified vehicle so you would hold it to a higher standard right? It was extremely dirty when we looked at it the first time so they “cleaned” it again before we signed the following day they did ask if it was ok I just said it was fine because it obviously was not going to get detailed correctly since it was already done twice and it was still dirty. My trade that was a 2006, with two kids was still cleaner than the one we purchased (very disappointed). We knew we would have to bring it back in to get some leather work done on the seat that was not a big deal, however it also has had to go back for the AC twice now and also to fix the taped wires on the rear view mirror (very tacky) that we did not notice until June 2nd. Now if we would have not opted to buy a certified vehicle I would not be nearly as upset about things, but seriously these should have been things not to pass certified inspection. I mentioned to the service person today how frustrated I am about them having it so much since our purchase and I do not remember what he said exactly, but the attitude was “well it’s not my fault”. I realize it does not lay just on his shoulders, but it reflects poorly on the entire company whether it’s one who did not do the job correctly or twelve. I feel like every time I get in the car I need to look around to see what else to "catch" that isnt right. I do not like to question quality from a long standing business with good reviews, debate or dicker over money or feel like I to be on guard about my purchases.

I purchased a 2013 Ford Edge Limited from here. Very professional sales department and Don answered all my questions and went over the entire car from front to back (even with it raining) when it was delivered. The issue (and reason for 3 stars) is their service department. The first time the sync system went out I took it in and explained that with my previous edge (2008) I experienced the same issue and the system had to be reset but still will not fix the problem as I have been thru this several times with my 2008 edge. The service lady Teresa said "Well good for you" and went on to say it just needed an update. So of course I let them reset and update the sync system and it worked for about 2 months. I have since then found how to reset the system myself so that I do not have to take it to Roberts. At 31,000 miles the front tires started "delaminating". So I figure there is some sort of warranty right? Wrong......they tell me to bring the car in but that there is no tire warranty and they would most likely have to replace the two front tires. Well there are several other tire places that can do that for quite a bit cheaper so I canceled the appointment. Bottom line the sales staff is very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile for customer service but the service department is lacking. If you are the type of person to take your car to the dealer for everything, find another dealer. If you like to buy new but prefer a local service department......this is the place for you.

Roberts is the only place I will buy a Ford vehicle from after my experiences with them. Three years ago my wife was looking to replace her Ford Escape with an Edge. She had a long list of wants for the options, and Roberts was great about finding a car that met all of her criteria. They found one in Tennessee and sent someone down to pick it up. After the sale, they took great care of her, like when she hit a block of wood and dented her rim on the way to work, they had her car towed and replaced the whole wheel in a matter of days, completely covered by our warranty. So when I started looking for a new car, I started with Roberts. I test drove a 2012 Focus there and liked it but wanted to look around. I spent 3 weeks looking at different dealer and different car manufacturers and couldnt find anything I liked as much. Of course when I went back the car I wanted was sold. So I went online and built a car on Fords website with the exact options I would want if I were to custom order a vehicle. I took the printout to Roberts and within 24 hours they had found one and sent an employee down to pick it up. Within 72 hours I was driving my perfect car. They even walked me through the setup of my Sync and taught me how to use it. The sales staff is top notch and are quick to return calls and emails even after the sale with any questions Ive had

I had a great experience with Curtis & Tony at Roberts Motors. I called ahead and the had the vehicle I wanted washed and ready to drive when I arrived. They listened to all of my requests and worked with me on both the purchase price of my vehicle and the evaluation of my trade. As it worked out, I ended up selling my old vehicle private party for a lot more than Roberts was willing to offer me for it, but I do not fault them for this as the car was both old and in rough cosmetic shape. They didnt lie to me or jerk me around, and the business manager actually had a good sense of humor, which is a welcome change from others I have dealt with in the past. All in all, one of my better car buying experiences. Make your requests known to them and they will work with you as realistically as possible. I felt like I got a very fair deal.

I ordered a Performance Blue 2013 Focus ST3 from Curtis at Roberts Motors. My car was built on Oct. 17th and i was driving my new car on Oct. 23rd. Most ST buyers have and still are waiting about a month or longer from build date, i was amazed to be in my car in less than a week after it was built. I had a few delivery requests and they were very accommodating. If your looking for a new focus, you should check out the ST. I have had the car a month now and this car is amazing. I had Roberts put my all season tires on. Despite an issue with them damaging one of the tires i brought in, their service department was nice. Teresa was very helpful. I plan on having them service my vehicle until the warranty wears out at least.

I had a TRULY ENJOYABLE experience at Roberts! Alan Van Booven, John Roberts, Tony Schomburg went above and beyond their required duties and my expectations to ensure that the vehicle was delivered when needed, I knew how to operate it, and was completely satisfied with the car and my experience. They made me feel like my complete satisfaction was their only concern. I have purchased many cars in my life and never walked away feeling as good as I did when i purchased my Explorer through Roberts. I told everyone that has commented on my car how great my experience was and have recommended them to everyone I know. My family and I will purchase all of our cars from Roberts.
