This place was a beehive of activity all day long on a recent Sunday. Twenty mins avg length of time for each shopper? No way on the first visit to this store! Way too much fun to sort thru the entire place... To make Times shopping easier: Enter store. Make a hard right turn to the fresh produce section. Once pau (finished) there, make a sweeping left turn, remaining on the perimeter path (in a general right to left direction) to reefer cases full of butter, eggs, packaged meats, yogurt, juices, milk. Pau there, turn hard left to fresh fish/meats perimeter aisle. Pau there, then cruise all the center aisles top-to-bottom, one at a time (dont skip em, you will miss some local island staples that you can only get here), heading back toward the general direction of the produce section from whence you started. Be sure to check out the selection of Hawaiian grabs (local souvenirs) found in the middle store aisles nr the checkout stands. We scored some Hawaiiana placemats that you cannot find at ABC stores. Yes. Good selection. Higher prices than back home, but lower compared to other large markets in HI. Prices and selection are only the beginning at THIS store. Whoa, bruddah. Check out the posted hours of operations. Hahaha. Minus the scant 3 hours each day you need to sleep, eat, shower, and change clothes... you could be here at Times Foods anytime you want! Maui no ka oi (no mo betta).

I have shopped here over the years but will shop at Safeway in the future. When I tried to explain to a supervisor my unhappiness with how an employee opened a line without trying to get someone from another line that had been waiting for 20 minutes to go first. I worked in this industry for many years and this was lost on the supervisor. She laughed at me for bringing it up. I asked her why she was laughing and she just continued to do so. Eventually she responded and stated she was not laughing at me and would speak with the employee. I did not sense that this would be done. The lines are long and the service is slow. There are other options to get groceries.

Been going to Maui, every year for the past 17 years. Always stop at Costco as we are leaving the airport. For years we stopped at Safeway, on our way to Honokeana Cove. Stopped in at Time Market to pick up a forgotten item and the rest is history so to speak. With the exception of a good BAKERY, Time Market, offers as much or more than Safeway at equal or better prices so our stop after Costco is Time Market on Lower Honoapiilani Rd. Folks prices are higher in Hawaii than on the mainland so do not be shocked but Time Market does not STICK it to the consumer in Hawaii.

While COSTCO seemed like a bargain on previous visits we either threw half of it away or felt obligated to try and use it all up...for us it just made it less flexible to do impromptu meals out --- its a lot more efficient to shop here to buy only what we need when we need it. Our hotel was just across the street...so it was very convenient. My only complaint is a lot of their sales promotions entail "buy two" which we cant take advantage of. Prices are of course higher than the mainland, but not over the top.

I went here on a Friday for lunch at noon with my friend. We got some dried ahi and a large steak plate and it was amazing. The total was $17 and the steak plate comes with a fountain drink. We couldnt finish the plate and saved most of the dried fish for later that went excellent with pau hana beers. Epic way to start the weekend! Staff wasnt in the best mood, but they cut new pieces of steak for me when I asked. So they deserve the 5 stars! See them next Friday, maybe theyll warm up to a familiar face.

Not a bad place to stop and get some supplies if you are staying at one of the nearby resorts. What surprised me was that the prices were not as high as I expected. There were some items that did cost more than the mainland, but for the most part I did not notice a big difference. They also had pre-made food items that looked good but I did not try. If you have small children they have some plastic sand castle supplies for very reasonable prices.

There are many places to shop for groceries while in Lahaina, however; Times supermarket has everything you need from a delicious deli with salads and a hot food bar. The Sushi is extremely good and may I say delicious, prices are best compared to Safeway and Napili market although I do like the guest service at Napili, Overall Times has a better selection and also has a section for trinkets. Mahalo for the outstanding customer service.

Go early because later in the day the shelves get empty. They restock overnight when their closed (2-5 a.m.) 5-9 p.m. is dinner rush. Only the first few lines are ever open and the line can stretch far. Be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes to check out. The pharmacy with Ryan and staff is exceptional and knowledgeable. They are really fast in their department. Side note; watch out for pot holes in the parking lot. Very treacherous!

Local supermarket, perfectly fine to shop at for a week. My family swears its cheaper than Safeway down the road, but Ive seen peoples reviews say its not. Guess it depends on what you buy. I love seeing different local brands, and also all the souvenirs. We havent tried any of the prepared food though. Service was great; one employee went all over helping us find something. Overall mild kitch vibe is fun.

A little more "homey" than Safeway, including slightly more local brands. It used to have a specific section for Local Foods" where you could find smaller, local providers which were not stocked at Safeway. While they still have the sign hanging in the aisle, no local brands were found there.

Should be called "behind the times" as it appears run down and old. They have the essentials and are VERY conveniently located. Limited selection and poor customer service-cashier was crabby and unpleasant. Will venture to Safeway or elsewhere next time.

This grocery store is very nice to have near the condos. One bit of advice is to check out what is on sale. If they have what you are looking for here, it can be cheaper than costco or safeway. Still, very convenient having this right here.

So conveniently located across from westin and honua resorts. You could walk it and use back gate but if getting allot of groceries, better to drive. They have everything you need especially if staying in a resort/condo with full kitchen

The location is convenient but the Safeway in lahaina is pretty close and has better prices and better selection. If you just need something quick times is good if you want more you may want to go to the Safeway.

Pretty good prices. Great selection and close to where we stayed. We filled up at Costco on our way to hono kowaii but think we should have shoped here instead. Better variety and the prices are pretty good.
