Great merchandise and selection like other HomeGoods stores, but their customer service is definitely lacking. Like the Walmart in this shopping center, some of the employees at the Cofer Crossing Homegoods seem to have better things to do than actually selling their home goods. This morning at 9:35 when the store still hadnt opened, and Angela was pointedly not noticing the customers waiting outside, I tested the door and found that it was open. When I walked in, Lori pointed out that "I sure was in a hurry to get inside," and when I mentioned that it was 9:35 and it seemed a natural assumption that the store was open, Angela pointed out that it was only 9:32 and Lori clarified that Angela hadnt yet unlocked the door. Apparently we all had forgotten to sync our watches, and at least two of us had forgotten that the customer is always right. And Im pretty sure I was right in at least one case, since I probably could not have opened the door if Angela hadnt yet unlocked it. After picking up some items and returning to the front to check out at 10:00, Lori apparently still wasnt ready to sell anything (or was still mad at me for actually entering the store some time between 2 and 5 minutes after it was advertised to open). She had her back to the line, gazing out the window and didnt acknowledge my presence, so I walked up to the counter at which point she did deign to ring up my items. I had brought my own bag and had to bag everything myself, but Lori did help by interrupting my bagging to tell me to sign for the purchase, then let me return to bagging the last couple of items. At no point during the purchase did she greet me or say thank you, although I did get a "here you go" when she kindly handed me my bag at the end. As a former retail store manager, I would suggest some basic customer service here - open the store on time, greet your customers with courtesy and thank them for their business, and bag their purchases. I went out of my way to visit this HomeGoods location today, but from now on I will most likely stick to the new location that recently opened closer to home.

This is a really good location, with great finds all over! Some of the products you would expect to find in Buckhead locations, but are there in Tucker. Staff is kind of scarce as in any Home Goods, but the products you find are worth the visit!!
