This was an awful experience this evening at Wal-Mart, now I see why people fight to keep Wal-Mart out of their neighborhood !!! I can not understand, how we have a super Wal-Mart in our neighborhood with only two employees on the cashier register after 5:00 pm in the evening.... This Wal-Mart sells food, clothes, TVs, EVERYTHING, you name it but no employees ?? DeKalb County should probably take another look here because Wal-Mart is in OUR neighborhood for the benefit of Wal-Mart, not our neighborhood!!! Its so unprofessional here, how can you run a business like Wal-Mart with NO employees?? I came in around 8:00 PM to do a little grocery shopping with my 12 year twin boys, after we finished we headed to check-out not realizing what was going on until we turn down a lane to head towards a cashier... In my 30 plus years, Ive never seen people standing in the LONGEST lines Ive EVER seen!!! You would have thought it was Christmas eve... I started looking around in disbelief, I didnt know what was going on... I tried making my way through the lines, I could see people were very upset!! As I looked a little closer, I realized there were ONLY TWO cashiers on duty, after 5:00 pm on a Thursday evening... There were lines and lines of people!!! I couldnt believe my eyes, I started looking around as other people started complaining... We were looking for other cashiers and no one could understand why were there only two cashiers, I felt really bad for the two cashiers on duty having to deal with all those people... The cashiers on duty, looked like slaves and not employees ... How could Wal-Mart have so many stores, this location just open last year and put all this work on two cashiers... I stood in line for almost 40 mins, yes almost 40 mins on 8-21-14 at 8:30 pm, dinner time!! The cashier (John) was nice and tried his best to just do his work but I felt so bad, I then saw what looked like mangers going into the office as if they were unaware of what was going on, what??? I requested information on Manager and or supervisor on duty, so I ended up speaking with a Richard who was the manager and stated that he didnt have any employees and that hes been on the register all day himself, I was shocked... No employees?? Where are all the jobs, this Walmart was suppose to bring to this area?? We didnt need another Walmart, there is one off Hwy 78, one off Panola Rd and another one off memorial drive... The manager went on to really try to explain what was going on but no one could make any sense of this situation... I then approached a supervisor by the name of Adrine who was short with dreads and he didnt offer explanation, in fact he was very rude... As I asked for answers and explained my frustrations, he could care less.. He spelled his name and in a very rude manner, walked away... DeKalb County officials need to take a long look at Wal-Mart coming into our areas, they are not bringing jobs, they our making money from out neighborhood while providing very little services, 40 mins in a grocery line of a super Wal-Mart because there are NO employees is not what we needed in our back yard.. I will be bringing this up in the next broad meeting with DeKalb county because every time I visit this store, employees seem to be very limited here... Krogers has been in our area for years and I have never went there after 5:00 and stood in a line for as long as I did tonight... I will now go back to the Krogers on North Hariston and Memorial Dr. because this is not the kind of service Stone Mountain was looking for... Never going back there, I will take my hard earned money, where people value your time and know how important it is to get home to make dinner after 5:00 pm...

After using the Pharmacy at Walmart and experiencing the same frustrations reported by others, I think Ive figured out a way to make it less painful. The key is going within 1-2 hr of their opening and closing time (the pharmacy, not Walmart as a whole). There is usually no line at those times. If I have a lot of shopping to do and they can fill it in "30 min", I will pick it up that day. Otherwise, it is easier just to come back later so I am sure it will be ready when I am. The most important thing is to go during non-peak hours when ever possible. If I see 12 people waiting in line, I just turn around and come back another time.

These people dont know anything about where they have certain products and they are the MANAGERS in that area smh. Cashiers are slow as ever, rude, they dont greet you. The Loss Prevention guy embarrassed a lady saying she stole a outfit for the child she had and she showed him her receipt even though he pulled her in the office. I worked for Walmart 4 years and thats a Automatic Termination. Hes still there of course. Will not be spending my money here.

Every time I get ready to checkout I noticed the other workers would leave their area and come over and just stand there talking to the cashier whose ringing me up. Theyre always walking back and forth distracting the customers but when I really need some one to help me they are no where to be found.. Not very Professional ☹️

You get what you pay for.... As the saying goes... cheap prices, poor quality merchandise, low pay which will result with poor customer service. This Wallie-Mart are just like the others. Walmart has to do better with quality not quantity.

Not that any Walmart is different... three lines open, over 50 people waiting. Cashiers closing their lines with three people waiting. Sat in sporting goods for 20 minutes with no help after asking three times, before I gave up!
