I purchased a car from the Stone Mountain, GA at the end of May of this year. At first, the staff was very welcoming and attentive in providing me with several options to choose from and answered all of my questions. However, after they had received my money, everything went down hill from there. As my first temporary tags expiration day approached, I reached out to the dealership inquiring the about the status of my cars tag. At that time, the dealership informed me that the corporate office most likely did not have all of the necessary documentation. They provided me with the number and I gave them a call. I explained the situation to the representative. She informed me that they possessed all of the documentation, and that she was very confused as to why they had to sent the documents for processing. She called the dealership, and they stated that they would FedEx me a new temp tag, and it would be at my door the next morning. Well, it never came. Called corporate again. They got in touch with the dealership. Turns out, they simply forgot. At that time, I filed my first official complaint. I had to take off work for the day to retrieve my second temp tag. The dealership was nearby, so I decided to pop in. During my conversation with the GM, he informed me that I needed to sign a power of attorney, which I found odd because I had already signed one. I can only assume that they misplaced the first copy. I gave it several weeks, and when I still had not received my official tag, I again called the dealership to find out the status of my tag. I called several times throughout the day as well as providing the salesmen with my contact info so that the powers that be could reach out. When I got off of work, I tired called the dealership again, turns out that the gentlemen with whom I needed to speak had left for the day without returning my calls despite the salesmen relaying the message. At that time, I called corporate and filed my second official complaint due to the complete ridiculousness of the situation as a whole. Both times I filed a complaint, I was informed that the area manager would be in touch with me, which has still not happened. After all of this, I got in contact with the title company directly. They seamlessly explained to me the situation, something which the employees at Hertz Car Sales in Stone Mountain had difficulty doing. Turns out it was poor oversight of filling out documentation. The title company was very confused as to how the employees at Hertz did not notify us how to fill out the paperwork, and that they too, were in fact, tired of dealing with the individual at Hertz Car Sales and requested that I cut him out and deal with him directly. Overall, a horrible experience. Complete incompetency all around. If prospective customer reads this I advise to stay far far away. Zero stars.

My experience with this rental location was not good. The salesperson (Ashtin) was not a good communicator over the phone and was very curt. He did not make us feel welcomed. The finance manager, Stephany, was condescending and disrespectful. She was trying to lecture us on how to buy a car. They did not want to discuss finance terms over the phone and wanted us to drive 2 hours out on a blind. We ended up giving our business to the Hertz car sales location in Charlotte. It took us three phone calls and we have scheduled a time to test drice the vehicle the next day. That is how car buying should be.

Friendly, no pressure experience. Miguel Salazar was patient and helpful as I looked at six different models and drive two, then left saying Id come back another day. He was responsive to email questions and efficient when we came back for the sale, even going above and beyond to start detailing the car before the detail staff arrived. Persephone in finance was helpful, thorough, and delightful with our cash sale. As pleasant as it gets when buying a car from a dealer.

Very smooth first time car buying experience. Patrick helped me to find a perfect car but unfortunately it had a minor recall and the part was back ordered. Patrick and the owner worked with me to find a different car and even matched the price of the one I wanted originally. I financed through my credit union so I was literally in and out within 30 minutes the day I came to actually purchase the car. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend Hertz Car Sales!

Nice cars and good selection. No-haggle pricing. The offices are small and old but sufficient. Theyre a bit disorganized, so double check the assumptions by looking up the VIN on their products.
