I can see the near closing time negative review. From a management perspective, they definitely start closing shop too soon. If you close at 6, you should expect go home at 7. They try to bolt right away. However, they are miles ahead of home Depot from a shopping experience. I regret going to the Depot every time. Go to Gilroys and theyll have what you need. Theres always someone available to help. Remember, its a hardware store, not a home improvement retail store. They dont have 13 cordless drills, but they do have every bolt size used since the renaissance. If you need some little hard to find odd or end, they have it.

I called to check if they had a part in inventory, they said "hold on, let me check". I was on hold for 10 minutes before I realized he wasnt gonna get back on the phone. I hang up and call back, and theyre closed. I understand it was late in the day, but I called before they closed, and that guy forgot about me and clocked out and went home. its just a bunch of kids running around in there with absolutely no sense of customer service. STAY AWAY!

I have looked for obscure hardware and eyelets, boat cleats, rope, bolts of specific size. Gilroys had it all, no home improvement stores did.
