The store itself is great, however, DO NOT buy a gun built by Wes. I was warned beforehand but bought it anyway. Second time out it suffers catastrophic failure. Wes refused to stand by his own workmanship and charged me for the parts to repair it, then literally bold face lied when called out on it to save face with a customer in the store. Ask around - theres a reason this guy has the reputation he does. Edited to reply to your response: First - Wes told me he built that gun himself, even bragging how it takes normal people "a year" to have their gun cerakoted by Renatus Arms. I called them later that day...2-3 week lead time. Secondly - It was confirmed AGAIN today that it was built by Wes, by he and the armorer. He even advertises his builds on Instagram and Facebook. Thirdly - Your armorer told me the failure was due to the wrong buffer assembly being used in an AR pistol build. Additionally, he stated a more heavy duty full auto BCG should be used to "add more weight when it cycles". He never mentioned the ONLY change I made - the grip. He did, however, say if it happened again bring it back and "well hook you up with those" (buffer and BCG). Lastly - Im assuming the "free items" youre referring to is the ONE pmag I was given? I hate all this, I really do, but whats right is right. Email me if youd like to discuss further, but Ill be taking you up on your return offer.

So Ive been here a few times and thought Id leave some feedback for this local shop... Excellent prepping store thats geared towards the user than isnt looking for surplus gear (READ: this is NOT an Army/Navy surpplus store). They carry prepping/survival gear (READ: no firearms or firearm-related gear) from the top brands that youd find at REI to local hometown brands that arent so well known. They also have some products that you wouldnt typically see in a prepping store that are particularly useful (i.e. small sewing kit, multi-utensils, small tools, etc). The staff are extremely knowledgable and open to sharing that information while being receptive to information from others (unlike most gear store employees....). Also, scattered the building are product tip sheets detailing "gear combos", reviews, how-tos, or manuals. Oh, and at least once a month they host food sampling or gear "show-and-tell" and demo events. As far as pricing goes, theyre pretty competitive compared to REI, Dicks, and other local prepping stores. On top of that, they routinely run deeply discounted sales and have discounts for LEO/MIL, multiple online forums, and multiple local clubs.

Whether new to prepping or an experienced and well trained prepper, TRUEPREP has what you are looking for! The staff is well trained and knowledgeable about the products that they carry. One of the things that I particularly appreciate about the TP staff is their willingness to assist and patiently work with a patron to make certain that they are getting exactly what they need...they arent just trying to move product. The inventory at the TP store is always fully stocked, whether you are interested in knives, firearms, reloading ammunition, medical first aid supplies, outdoor cooking, preparedness classes and training, etc., etc. this is a great place to shop. Having been a patron of THE PREPPERS VAULT I was a little apprehensive about the merger with TRUEPREP, I can say without reservation that the merger has been a great success. I have noticed a tremendous amount of change in the location in just the past few weeks, I cant wait to see what the staff at TRUEPREP do moving forward!

First entered this store in early 2013. They always have an interesting selection of gear, gadgets, and food. I am not a fan of online shopping so having things I want on hand is what will bring me back time after time. Recently my wife got on to me about my ways of preparing for emergencies. I happened to walk in to your store this past weekend and you had two introductory classes.(Free of charge no less.) Best part was she took it all in and understands kind of what I have been doing before we met. Hope to come to some more classes in the future. Keep up the great work. (I am also happy with the merger. Saves me stopping twice. I know they are hard on staff. But you all have made it look seamless.)

Love this place. Just recently began engaging in the disaster preparedness preparation scene that has been growing in popularity. The Preppers Vault has everything one might need to be ready for any scenario. Even if you enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking - check it out, You will absolutely find something that you have never seen any where else. And even if you have seen everything the people there are great. Super friendly and enthusiastic, excellent knowledge about all products they carry, and always more than happy to help anyone from the novice with a million questions (like me) or the pro looking for a specific item.

Top notch retail presence. These guys have retail figured out. Everything is so clearly labeled and priced, makes it really easy to find things. They carry all the Berkey water filters, grain and meat grinders, MREs, survival food, water storage, canning supplies, etc. They also have these pre assembled kits like first aid kit, survival kit, trauma first aid kit, backpacking first aid kit, etc. These kits are very well priced and have a picture listing the content and prices of all items. Im very happy to patronize local businesses and they have certainly earned my business.

The Peppers Vault.... The employees are your first experience when you walk through the door. They are very welcoming and highly knowledgeable about anything you need to ask. They experience and live there knowledge! Your second experience is the vast inventory of your survival needs. Yes, they offer anything you want. BUT... if you ask what you need, again the employees will point you in the right direction depending on your need. If you. Check them out, ask their opinion on what your shopping.

I walked into the Preppers Vault at their old location in kennesaw the day after they opened and thought they had a really cool selection of gear. Ive gone by about once a month ever since, and the place gets cooler every time I go. The new location on 41 with TruPrep is great because now you can go to both of the stores that you were going to go to anyway in one stop. Wes usually has what Im looking for, but if he doesnt he will always find it. Super good dudes over there. Highly recommended.

If you are in the Kennesaw / Acworth area, then this is the store for you. Everything you need to prep for the worst case scenario; Zombie Apocalypse, 8 more years of Pres. “O”, financial collapse, terrorism, is contained within this business. Added to that, ask the employees to show you their personal BOBs and you will see that you have people who are knowledgeable in what they are selling and not a person filling a position with no understanding of this survival skill set.

Awesome store. Their inventory is constantly growing. Such a wide array of gear (in stock) and some really good deals keep me coming back. The staff is great, very friendly and willing to help with any questions you may have. Even directed me where to get something that they didnt sell at the time. I hope to try a couple of their classes they offer as well this year. Never a bad experience in all my trips to see the folks at Tru Prep.
