We bought a beautiful, solid oak, spring driven, pendulum, Westminster Chime grandmother clock. Its fascinating that a clockmaker at the turn of the last century made a functioning timepiece that is still keeping relatively accurate time a century later! And we paid a fair price. My only warning is to remember this is a consignment shop, so the clerks are not antique dealers and really cant provide antique expertise. So either do some research before buying or ask to speak to the owner / seller of the merchandise with any questions (the clerks can usually reach the owner / seller by phone).

The Madison flea market had a lot of nice products. But when we walked in we heard someone who worked there on the phone telling a customer there were no refunds or returns. This made me second-guess buying anything there. I dont know the situation but she sounded quite terse towards the customer. There was a table I liked but besides way in the front there was no one to help me. Butt I did like the variety and quality.
