I am visiting my sick and elderly Mother. She needs to replace an entire room of furniture and had me take her to Art Vans. She is wheelchair bound with Oxygen in her nose and looks very sickly. I wheeled her around for 2 hours and not ONE sales person approached us. We shopped in the clearance area because, although she can afford the finer things in life she is frugal and likes a bargain. We left with nothing and continued on to another furniture store where we were treated wonderfully and purchased a full rooms full of furniture! I believe that the sales staff at your store (standing around chatting) ignored my Mother because it appeared she could not afford anything! Shame on you for not imploring, empathy, kindness and equal opportunity in your sales people. We cont be back!!!

This place does not have a clue about customer service. I cant understand how this place stays in business. I bought a TV cabinet on a Monday, I was told I could pick it up sooner at a different store (Saturday). I pick it up, it was boxed, opened it later that day, it was the wrong item!!! I took it back to the store and told my salesperson, who was very appologetic. I told her it would be fair of Art Van to deliver the correct piece. She asked the manager who refused, then I canceled the order, which Mr. Manager would have to process. While waiting, I told him its obvious my time and fuel means nothing to you. This person then said to me dont put words in my mouth unbeliveable!!

NEVER GOING BACK I bought a bed which they could not deliver in before 2 weeks. When they finally came came to deliver, they did not bring screws to set up the bed. I called and they said screw doesnt come with bed. So they SOLD ME A BED WITHOUT SCREW ..!!! then they said they will deliver the screws another 2 weeks later. Before that I found that the headboard doesnt fit right. I went to the store to return it and they said they dont take return after 7 days of purchase. I said, technically you havent delivered yet cuz I am still waiting for screws. Then they said there will be 15% charge for return. ... i am so sick of all the drama.

Weve bought furniture before but usually shopped in the clearance section where you get what you pay for. This time we decided to buy nicer furniture figuring it would last longer. We even got a warranty on it. I highly doubt I will ever buy from Art Van again. The cushions which are supposed to be attached to the back of the furniture are coming off. Called for service. They came out but said its not covered. In fact, there wasnt much that was covered. Never again. We are still paying for this crap.

Make sure you spend a lot of time in the store testing out what you are buying before you actually buy it. We bought a sectional that seemed great in store but after a couple weeks of sitting on it realized that is not very practical. You cant rest your head on anything and the back pillows flatten and are not supportive. It gives my husband and I both back pain sitting on it for just a short amount of time. I called and they said there is nothing they can do since its past 7 days. So frustrating.

Purchased a sofa and two chairs. Salesman was personable and well informed. Deliver men took care as to not damage walls when delivering. Its now been one year since we got this furniture and are nothing but satisfied. Also have a recliner from them, for which I have had service on it twice and still have the same problem. It makes a loud grinding noise when moving. Other than that, satisfied. I have done business with Art Van in the past for numerous items and had no problems.

We werent able to purchase anything because the particular piece we were looking for couldnt be sold as an individual piece. However, Im still giving it a 5-star rating due to the exceptional service we recieved from a salesman named Herb Copeland. He did absolutely everything in his power to help us. He was very polite and attentive. We will always be going back to Herb for any furniture needs! I highly recommend asking for him if you visit the Westland location.

The whole experience was horrible, absolutely the worst furniture company I have ever dealt with and will never again. Sales people lied about the "warranty coverage" and the corporate office is just as bad. I called to have my chair fixed and came back dirty and with two different arms. Never again will go to Artvan and recommend no one else either.

While they had a decent selection, there was nothing that particularly appealed to me. While admittedly this is a matter of personal preference, I was also turned off by the pushiness of the sales people. The last time I was there, the salesman went to run my husbands and my credit before we even found anything, which we didnt.

Got pestered every five minutes by a sales person, and when I finally choose to buy something I couldnt find them. Then while waiting for my name to be called for pick up I didnt hear my name and wasted time waiting around before I asked if they called my name. Not the best system for picking up furniture.
