***THE NUMBER GIVEN IN COMMENTS IS NOT CORRECT AND THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHO DAVID BOOTH IS. USELESS*** Dont bother calling to ask anything-- their "online department" gives incorrect information and outright lies. I called specifically because the location was about an hour each way from my home, I had 2 small children, and I had to have someone take me there as my car had started to break down. I made it clear we were looking to purchase this weekend, whether it be there or somewhere else, and I needed to know what I was coming to look at. I was told the car I was interested in had multiple comparable alternatives in similar price and size (lie), that although they cannot warranty a non-kia car, they are a "reputable company, not a mom and pop shop" and that they would "take care of it no problem" if the car ended up being rejected by my mechanic (lie). I made it VERY clear I did not want to waste my time driving back and forth if all of these things were not true, because I had to have a car ASAP for work, school, and my children. I was then told I could have a 3pm (I chose the time) appointment to speed our visit up (lie) with Crisswell Leaphart (lie) and that if I was running late to please call and let them know, as if the man would be waiting for me. Upon arrival, a girl out front and another inside commandeered our visit, and even after specifically stating I had a 3pm appointment and asking for Mr. Leaphart, he never once left his office or his office chair to even acknowledge our presence. Not a word, not even a nod. These girls ran back and forth to him, and we were not worthy of his time. They immediately put me off, because as soon as my mother said she was purchasing the car for me, they said, "Oh dont tell them that. They dont like that." Sorry? Dont like what? Do they not like sales? Do they not like a mother buying a car for her daughter? Still dont know what is unfavorable about our want to purchase or why they have an opinion on what my mother does with her car once she gives them money. Once they realized my mother was purchasing a car for me, (for which I will be paying her back, so I am in fact still the decision maker here unbeknownst to them), they promptly began to ignore my presence and brush off my comments and concerns and try to sweet talk my 60year old mother with things like saying we must be sisters. Honey, Im 29, and youre not smooth. Not only that, they kept telling me how the "online department" was just online and that the things they said or promised me werent necessarily true at a later time or at all. I told them I had called at noon, made the appointment at 12:30, and they tried to argue with me saying I made it at 9am. I hadnt even found their location online at 9am. I pulled out my phone to show the girl my phone record, as she continued to act as if I was a liar. They were disrespectful, argumentative, rude, and conveniently so after realizing I was not the purchaser. Their answers would change after I would state that I was told otherwise about things like being able to take the car to my mechanic (they said hed have to come there), fixing damage on the car (they acted like they would ask for the favor when I had already been promised it would be taken care of), etc. They even had the audacity to act like my mother was unreasonable for wanting something in writing before giving them a check to hold the car. The only reason I even CONSIDERED buying the car after all of that was because my mother was insistent that a good deal shouldnt be ruined by them. But they will not be getting my commission. And she was not at ALL unreasonable for wanting something in writing stating her check was refundable upon changing her mind or upon purchasing as she was financing through her bank (or them if they could beat the APR). They simply said they were not in the habit of cashing peoples checks! LOL! But they cant put it in writing? We walked.

I drove 3 hours after locating a vehicle online for a certain price. I called on the way to make sure they still had the vehicle and was the price on the website correct. I was told yes on both. Once I got there, I was greeted by a salesman Steve Halley.. Great guy.. After we decided to work up a deal, I was confronted by a "closer" tall bald guy and the vehicle price was not what was on the internet. It also included fees for floor mats, upholstery protection, safety lock tire nut, and nitrogen for the tires. After I told him what the price was and I called to verify, he proceeded to tell me the price on the paper is the price, not the internet price. I was told the price on the on the internet included discounts/promotions "college grad, military, cash back" that I only had one of them. I pulled up there website and showed them that it does not disclose any of that information nor the optional fees. I was told he didnt care that the price on the paper was the correct price which was 2600 higher. As for my trade, they were giving me 2500 less than what THEIR website trade in value. When I questioned that, I was told they dont use that, they use a dealer program. At this point I was furious and I got up and walked out. Five minutes later, they were calling to come back and talk to the General Manager. When I got back, they waived the addt fees, increased my trade in but then tried to charge me for twice with the ridiculous dealer/doc prep fee of $799.00. Once again, I had to pull up their web site to show them the price on the internet states in the FINE PRINT, it INCLUDES dealer fees. So he deducted that from the vehicle purchase price. He handed me the buyers agreement and said here is your out the door price. I said great, lets do it.. Only to be told that on that buyers guide it showed to the left, your payment, interest rate, term, and PUTTING $2,000 down, in which I had no idea or was even told. I wanted the car and drove 3 hours because I could not find another one with all the bells and whistles I wanted, so I met them in the middle with putting $1,000 down But I can assure you, I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN. These kinds of practices is what gives car dealerships a bad name. I am well educated and have some knowledge in the finance business. I was able to see the deception and not take part in it.. I can only imaging how many people they have done this to and them not know it.. .You should be ASHAMED for the your business practices.

I want to start off by saying I would rate this dealership and Kia corporate at a 0 on Saturday 3/25 my 2015 Kia Optima I bought brand new from this dealership completely shut off while I had my 6 year old daughter and niece in my car going 65 mph on the interstate. Luckily we were able to get out of the way of cars and no one was injured. I dropped my car off Sunday 3/26 knowing service was closed I needed my car looked at as soon as possible, since this is my only transportation and I am a single mom. I received a phone call on 3/27 at 7:30 being told they started my car its in service and from hearing the engine when it started it would not be covered under warranty and that I would need to pay 6000 for new one. I for one do not have the funds to afford a new engine, that is the whole reason why I purchased the Kia for the 100,000 mile warranty. On 3/28 I got a call from the dealership saying my claim was denied due to lack of receipts, yet they never told me where to send them who to send them to. I called Kia corporate on 3/28 started a complaint/claim they said they would get back to me on Friday 3/31. I never heard anything so I contacted them, was told they are taking it hire up and I now should here something by Wednesday 4/5. I have sent them a few receipts where my oil was changed at a service station and I am now going through my account to get receipts where I have purchased my oil and filter and had an individual do. I have not had a transportation for almost a week, while my vehicle has been at their location. Told they have no loaners available and they will not give me one unless work is being performed, personally what a load of bs my car is at their facility over night, any other car manufacturer would have placed me in the loaner once they knew they would be keeping my car. I am very displeased with this whole experience with Kia. I do not recommend this dealership or for anyone to purchase a Kia vehicle, they do not care about their customers nor honor the 100,000 mile warranty under any cause. Go on google and search it happens all the time. I will be going to the dealership tomorrow 4/1 to speak with the sales manager and service manager on what and how they are going to do to better assist me on this matter and how they will be providing me with a loaner vehicle no way around that. No results from them in this matter will leave me to seek further action outside of Kia corporate and the dealership this coming Monday.
