Every time I go in this store it is a wonderful experience. Its like stepping back in time. Sooo many things to see, I just want to wander up and down the aisles. The best part is the people make sure you are taken care of and have what you need. Today, I was having trouble getting some screws out of a chair that I was going to reupholster. The screws were deep and required a square screwdriver. I went to Cranes because I knew they would help me find what I needed. Well, as it turned out, the screws from this chair were so outdated that none of the screwdrivers fit. So, they took one of the screwdrivers and ground it to fit the screw. The price...under five bucks! Problem solved. I went home and it worked perfectly. Thank you, Crane Hardware, for helping me to remember the "good ol days."

The staff was very helpful. I was looking for a screw in order to repair my hair clippers and they helped me find the small 5mm diameter screw that I was searching for. If I have a project that requires a specific size screw or nut, I would go here,they have a wider selection then ace hardware.
