My wife and I purchased over $5000 of living room furniture from The Furniture Store in Gainesville, GA on Browns Bridge Road. The sales personnel and the store manager were pleasant and courteous while we were purchasing the Lazy Boy recliners and sofa. We purchased 4 chairs and a sofa. The sales personnel strongly suggested treating the furniture with Ulta Shield fabric protection for stain prevention and treatment at an additional cost. When the furniture arrived and we had used it for a few weeks we found Lazy Boy quality to have declined over the years. It was not the same quality we had in older Lazy Boy furniture. We had made our decision however, and decided to make the best of it. We soon had a get together with neighbors and numerous stains appeared on two recliners and the sofa. We followed the procedures to the letter with Ultra Shield . Their personnel came to the house, treated the stains , and actually made them worse with additional treatment stains. We followed up with Ultra Shield with pictures and were told they could do nothing further. We followed up with The Furniture Store through their management and were told we had to deal with Ultra Shield. We are very disappointed in this purchase and the response from The Furniture Store. The Furniture Store is ultimately responsible for the goods and services it provides and sells. We live in a very large and close community right down the street from the store and prized its location. The store has lost our future business and can be sure we will communicate our experience with our friends and neighbors. I would strongly advise shopping elsewhere or you will be as disappointed as we are in this store. Given the quality deterioration with Lazy Boy furniture, I would now recommend against their purchase as well.

I purchased a bedroom set and dining set from this store. One of the chairs came without a foot. I called the store and was told it would be ordered. Weeks went by and I never got the foot. I called the store again and was told, “If he said he ordered it, I’m sure he did. The factory takes a long time to send stuff.” She never bothered to check on the order, just blew me off. The foot never came. In a very short period of time the chairs started to rust (these chairs have never been outside as long as I’ve owned them) and the paint began to chip. Poor quality and poor service all the way around. Do these stores not realize you may need furniture in the future?

Best prices on Magnolia Home furnishings than any store Ive found! They beat other stores by hundreds of dollars. Just a headboard at The Furniture Store was $400 cheaper than other places. And lots to choose from.

You can drive past this place a dozen times and not realize its there, unless you are looking for it. Typical nice furniture store with variety. A bit pricey but plenty to choose from. Very helpful staff.
