Fabric clerk working the day I went tried to shame me for calling the store while waiting in line for fabric cutting. I told whoever answered that she needs help in the fabric department. Plain and simple and no need to discuss it. It never fails that every time I come and she is there by herself I have to go get someone else to come back to help. She has no sense of urgency and insists on small talk with customers.(dont know name just her face)Anyway, answering questions is one thing but the small talk is not necessary when there is a line of people waiting to be assisted. Some reason she knew it was me who called the store while in line to let the know they need to send help. I dont know how she knew and quite frankly I really dont care but I did not want to loose my place in line to go get someone since I was next but I and another person behind me had already been waiting 15 minutes for her to wait on one customer. She said I was calling someone. I thought to myself I couldnt tell because no one came until after I made the call. When I got to the counter she said well its retail and we work with a limited crew and its a busy day and its like that some time. I thought to myself I worked in retail before and while all that sounds good it is really of no concern to me and since I have worked in retail I know that customers do not care about any of that and only want to get assisted as quickly as possible. If I had not called someone to help I and the other 6 people the line had grown to would have been there another 15 minutes while you wait on ONE person. "Hopefully the line will not be long at the front checkout, have a good one"she says with a sarcastic attitude after cutting my fabric. The front checkout line is not what I am concerned about because I know those employees always work with a sense of urgency to get the lines down. SO DONT SHAME ME FOR FOR CALLING TO GET YOU SOME HELP!!! Only went because it was closer but never again will I wait in line for fabric cutting at that Joann store. I will buy other things but I will gladly drive the 30 miles it takes for me to get to FINE FABRIC in Norcross(almost the size of a WalMart supercenter) with prices at 70-75% cheaper than Joann anyway.

Okay, so when it comes to chain fabric stores, I greatly prefer Jo-Ann over Hancock. HOWEVER, this particular store is disgusting. 1. The store is never properly stocked. Their elastic by yard, for example, is all out of order and half of it is and has been out of stock for MONTHS. 2. Disorganized. I spent thirty minutes trying to find four patterns last week. All of their patterns are out of order. Patterns are not the only issue. Anything that is not normally changed (such as seasonal stuff) is disorganized. The quilting fabric is always all over the place. 3. Half of the staff is really nice. The other half of the staff. ehhhh 4. The lady who works the viking booth was very rude to me when I asked her a question and told her that I have a Brother brand sewing machine. Very uncalled for. This store just really seems to have some management issues. Its the only gross Jo-ann Ive ever been in.

I returned 15 yards of fabric and it literally took an entire hour because the lady working the fabric was very negative, telling me basically I cant return it. All of her excuses as to why they wouldnt do my return were not even company policy and were lies. I had to tell her about five times that we did not cut the fabric, it was the exact way we bought it. It was like she wanted to cause as many problems as possible and tried to find every way for us not to get our money back. The manager happily refunded me a $300 according to store policy. I dont remember that ladys name, but they shouldnt have her even working there. Why are u being so bitter and negative to the customer and wanting to make up your own policies that arent even true, just to tell someone no???

This store is wonderful! The staff are ALWAYS willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you find what you need or to order it for you. It is so nice to have the sewing center in the same store so that if you have ANY question to ask about a sewing machine issue you will most likely find the answer right there and if you need a good sewing machine they will help you to find exactly what you are looking for. Love this place.

OMG I cant stress enough how in love i am with this store. Im a DIY expert and i normally go in the store for a few things but walk out with bags and bags of items. im a beginner sewer so i love the great quality fabrics they have available. I could literally write a book about this store but who would really read it? Lol go in and experience it for yourself

Over the years I keep coming back to this store and leave frustrated every time. It is never a simple task to buy something here. The items are often priced wrong. My fabric ends up measured wrong and its always a mess. The coupons dont work or you cant find anyone to help when you need it. This store is ridiculous.
