I was in Love with this place. I shop here EVERY Thursday, but 2 weeks ago something happened that will change how I view this place. As I was checking out, I was having a casual conversation with the bagger and cashier. As the bagger was bagging my groceries he noticed I had 10 Organic Juices in the cart. So he says " A lot of juice there, Guess the kids doesnt drink any water." So I thought nothing of it at first, so I said " Yes they drink water, I like to stock up on juice." So I switched from talking to the bagger and said to the cashier " I am tired, I have one more stop to make." From out of no where the bagger says " Where to McDonalds?" This was the second time he has said something out of the way. At this time I was bothered, I didnt say anything, I paid for my items and left. I ended coming back to the store because the conversation just continued to replay in my mind as it has, on and on since the visit. So, I got with the manager on duty and explained what happened. I also let him know that I took offense to what his bagger said to me. I felt like I was stereotyped on 2 different occasions during my check out. Black Family that doesnt drink water and eats McDonalds. This was the first visit that went this way. So another manager follows up the next by calling me from a cell phone saying he was sorry for what happen, but that is a Great cashier and usually doesnt speak much, I dont know what happen there. He said he will speak to the bagger/cashier, but he is a Great cashier. When he was finished speaking I politely asked "when will the store manager be back?" He said Monday and I said OK. Because speaking to him was pointless. Great cashier or not, I was offended. I felt no sympathy at all. So again I felt as though I was swept under the rug. Still waiting on store manager to follow up. Complete let down. I just knew that management there would handle the situation better. I feel like they took up for the cashier/bagger and brushed of remarks because they themselves can not relate to this feeling. For the record the cashier and bagger were neither Black or White. Whole Foods dropped the ball on this one and that conversation replays in my mind. I now have the feeling like this is how they feel about African Americans. McDonald eating and No water Drinking. They have a formal complaint on record.

Never been to any Whole Foods until last night (so glad they are open until 10pm weekdays!). I was impressed (actually awestruck) from the start! It isnt that I havent seen this sort of market before, because all over Quebec the grocery stores are like this. I just am not used to seeing them around here. Huge, well-lit, clean, and stocked with, Im pretty sure, some version (most cases versionS) of ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING! If you cant find it, ask the knowledgeable and extremely friendly/helpful sales associates; I had to ask because I was in awe and clicking photos to send family/friends so much, I had to make up for lost time. I came for EOs (essential oils) and other organic type remedy/care supplies. The clerk directed me to everything on my list, accompanying me for most, even helping me decide the closest and most economical choice for my needs. I figure she saved me a lot of stress and indecision, as well as over an hour, probably more like 2, so that is worth noting. I left there wishing it was closer to my home so I could use it as my GOTO for groceries, health, cosmetic, restaurants............ and because Id apply for a job to get a discount! Oh and those pics I took for so long when I got there.......... a good friend commented: Even looks like a good place to bring a date! Did I LOVE IT?!?!? Right?!!! Wish I could give the name of that sales associate; she was AWESOME! So was the other one in same department *** my bad, but Ill be back and wont forget.

I live near Johns Creek. Ive been coming to this Wholefoods for almost four years now. It seems that this Wholefoods location is going downhill. The quality, selection, and variety of the hot bar food is very low. Its always the same; black-eyed peas, corn, Macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes with maple syrup. A few stews made with chicken and beef, samosas, baked cauliflower, fried or blackened cod, garlic green beans. They choose to put on the hot bar the cheapest and most budget-driven items and want to charge you $8.99 or $9.99 lb. There is no high-quality or exotic ingredients and skilled preparation required for the sort of meals named above. The salad bar and meat station are OK. The Trattoria food on display always look dried and old. Its not appealing to me. The pizza prices have been increased. However, the quality, taste, and value remain the same. The dining tables are always filthy and grimy. The employees who are supposed to clean them and check on the floors and tables quite often are lethargic and disgruntled. They do not have any supervision or accountability. I have never seen a team leader or supervisor walking around to see what the employees are doing.

I absolutely LOVE Whole Foods as a market, the standards, what it represents, and most of all the consistency in Service I receive from store to store. However, the service at this location is HORRIBLE! The store leadership has no regard for customer input when making decisions which will affect the buying experience, and if you voice your opinion in a polite and diplomatic manner you will be targeted. I have no idea what the job function of some of the employees are but I find it very disturbing when team members such as Phyliss, Barbara, Will, Craig and John simply do not have enough to do in their day and are able to stand about gossiping and heckling customers. I have been mad to feel so uncomfortable that I am now wondering if there may be other issues at hand such as the color of my skin. I am now reaching out to Whole Foods higher ups to let my experiences be known.

Ive been to several whole food markets and my sister has been to more than I have. She loves these stores so anytime we hang out she forces me to join her. This was our first time going to this particular location and she was like a kid in a candy store. They have a NUT section with several nuts and flavors to choose from. The prepared cold food section has its own section with more options and a bar where you can sit and eat it. They have a very large seating area where you can enjoy your purchases. They also have chocolate section! They even have a seating area to the side where you can watch tv. Shes describing all this to me as I type and she chomps down on their delicious chocolate chip cookies. Overall this is a really cool location and i get the feeling some how, some way, well probably end up here again even though its nowhere near us.
