I cant get enough of this store! I love the organic choices, the hot food and salad bar, the ice cream bar, the olive bar, the cheese bar, the seafood and meat counters, and the prices. I decide one day to purchase a specific tea that looked good. The lady at the register approved of the tea and stated because I had never tried it before she would give it to me for free! I was shocked! Another time I went, I purchased 2 bottles of an alkaline water. The guy at the register let me know they could sell it by the case and it was on sale. I said yes I wanted the case and to remove the 2 bottles already rung up. He voided the items got my case AND still gave me the 2 bottles!!! So yes, I love this store lol

Our family has been consumers of organic foods for several years. Though whole foods has variety of organic food selection, their price is unreasonable compared to other stores. You can find the same organic foods (same brand, same quantity) in Meijer, Kroger or Food for living for at least 10-30% cheaper. I agreed to go with my wife because there was something in it for me. (beer - a bar right in the store!) Thats why I gave them 4 stars. The bartender, Geoff, was friendly and very knowledgeable on their craft beer selection. Ill definitely return for that! As far as everyday grocery shopping, I found their prices to be greatly inflated. For example, a gallon of distilled water was $1.69. Id like to know what is different from that gallon than the one I purchased later on at Walmart for $0.82... They do have an excellent selection of organic foods.

Ive been to this store about 6 times. I go for the bulk selection of spices. I drive from Holt just to go to this store. One other time did I feel I was being profiled, but I blew it off. Today I took my daughter with me, but it was confirmed when my teenager asked me did I get a funny feeling like the guy was watching us. I look over and Yes, the guy was watching us. Thank you for giving my teenager her first experience of being profiled, and stereotyped. You did a awesome job of not even being discreet. I DO NOT steal, dont have to!

This place has so much going for it that I dont know where to start: Delicious and beautiful baked goods made with high-quality ingredients; coffee/tea/espresso drinks made to order; a place to get breakfast and hot or cold sandwiches made to order; a bar; a meat, seafood, and cheese selection beyond awesome; a fantastic deli (grilled chicken breasts and salmon fillets, roasted veggies and much more); hot & cold pay-by-the-pound prepared food bars... Its a foodies Disneyland. Welcome to East Lansing, Whole Foods!

A very clean and nice looking store that falls in line with the other Whole Foods Ive been too but it seems like they are focusing more and more on niche foods and less on the staples (minus produce) and the prices keep reflecting that by going up. The salad bar used to be a great value now its cheaper and easier to get a similar salad from a fast food place like Wendys or McDonalds. We are happy to have a Whole Foods for some of their unique items but they wont usurp Horrocks or Foods For Living as our first stop.

Compared to other whole foods this one is pretty weak. Before we moved whole foods was a staple of our grocery shopping , weekend breakfast, and fresh meat. This location has convinced me to just order online and shop elsewhere. Pricing scam in action, some prices higher and dropping some lower and rising ...typical whole foods b.s.. health food as long as we can use canola still! Dont support these self righteous hipsters, they dont care about their customers just their image.

I asked whether the lamb at the meat counter was humanely killed and it turns out its halal slaughtered (i.e. the throat is slit while the animal is conscious and its hung up to bleed to death). Im unclear as to why Whole Foods only sells halal lamb in East Lansing. I thought this was supposed to be an ethical company that cares about animal welfare. It seems as though, as in Europe, Islamic interests trump all others in America too. Other than that, prices inflated as always.

I went to whole foods to get some delicious baked goods that I was recommended to go get and when I did I was greeted by ryan and shaune and they both gave me delicious samples of gelato and I was helped by shaune to pick out some fruit tarts and cream puffs and I can tell you all I will definitely back for more and some tropical gelato.

I love the Green State restaurant thats attached to whole foods. The 2 times weve gone, the food has been great and its inexpensive, even with both of us ordering craft beers! The bartenders were also super nice and helpful. Geoff was the last one, I cant remember the other guy though. Well be coming back regularly!

Best place around for convenient healthy options and alternative medicines for holistic health and healing!! Healthier grocery shopping. Free coffee and wonder beer and wine section too. You can even sit at store bar and walk around with drinks well shopping!! My favorite place to shop!!!!

So tempted to give it a 5 star...but some prices have to come down a little. There are definitely great values to be had all around the store! GREAT selection, big, clean, friendly, efficient, and can get some organic vegies for same price as non-organic from Meijers.

This store is always stocked and looking great. ALL of the staff are super friendly. Great selection of high quality organic food. Including meats, baked goods, fresh prepared food, and good sushi. Prices are hi compared to normal grocery stores but better products.

Love the food buffet here. Its where I buy my shampoo thats free from dyes, perfumes and sulfate. Many good sulfate free shampoo options, also good baby shampoo and other products. They have good produce, wine and cheese selection and lots of other grocery items.

I keep on coming back here because of their sweets! Its really good and perfect when Im craving for it. Its a bit pricey though but totally worth it. 4 stars because whenever I need help I have to walk all the way to registers and ask someone to help me. :-)

Employees are very helpful and polite. high Food quality and a lot of options per product. More options for specialty items for vegan, bakshish, gluten free and for those of us with a few or a lot of did allergies, all at decent prices.

I love this place! Makes me feel good about what im consuming, physically and mentally. Yes its pricey, but have you checked the cost of cancer? Pay a little more now or a hell of a lot later! Love all the gf stuff, ty for that!

Great selection of just about anything youd like. Sometimes staff seems like they couldnt care less about you, though. Cashiers are always very nice and friendly. Prices are a bit high compared to other health food stores.
