Ive been taking my scripts here for a yr. They are a 24 hr pharmacy and are usually very busy. Mostly I have had good experiences and polite employees. Dealing with anything "health related" is frustrating. My current doctor has started using trial and error instead of actual lab work and tests and Ive had to push her to actually do her job. Ive been feeling like she doesnt give a crud. Its my LIFE for petes sake!! (trying to keep it clean). Finally last week my doctor prescribed a medication that I absolutely have to have but costs $750 a month!! I am transitioning insurances right now. Last week I spoke with a cvs tech (Phyllis?)who explained that my ins needed a prior auth to cover it and she sent a fax to my drs office. She went thoroughly and cheerfully through the process with me so I could understand. Her customer service was excellent and it was nice to deal with someone that cares. I called my doc right away to make sure they got the fax to send to ins. My docs front office staff were rude to me but confirmed that they got it. Today I get a call from my docs front office girl saying that because my ins transitioned over the weekend that they cant send the prior auth because my doc doesnt take my new ins. I said "what does my doc taking it got to do with anything?" Their answer was that ins only will accept the Pa from an in-network doc. I then said "but you got the fax last week and could of sent it then!" they again were really rude, blew me off and did nothing to try and fix the situation or offer samples until this could be remedied. Needless to say I was really upset. How can I afford $700 a mth?? So, I called CVS and spoke with Alicia and asked if I could buy a couple tablets at a time? She said yes then asked me to hold. (I was like- Oh gawd what now?!) When she came back she said she had re-ran the script on my current ins and tacked on a disc savings card and the new cost is THREE DOLLARS for A MONTH!! I was speechless. $700 to $3. I started to cry. Besides my doctors office lately,I have dealt with a LOT of incompetent morons who couldnt give a crud less about their jobs. Alicia actually cared enough to look into it more and try and help. She may have just saved my life. I know that sounds dramatic but its true. Thank you Alicia (and Phyllis too) Customer service and pride in your work made a small and large part of my life better ...and I dont even know you!!

I AM NOT HAPPY TO EVEN GIVE ONE STAR, BUT TO LEAVE A RATING I HAVE TO GIVE IT SOMETHING. THIS PLACE ADDED MINUTE CLINIC AND IT HAS GONE TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET EVER SINCE. ITS FULL OF PEOPLE DOING NOTHING, EMPLOYEES PILE OUT THE STOCK ROOM DOORS SMOKING WHILE YOU ARE SITTING BEHIND 20 OTHER CARS SICK AS A DOG TO PICK UP AN RX. THEN THEY CANT FIND IT WHEN THEY TELL YOU TO COME BACK 3 HOURS LATER. IT NEVER GETS BETTER, EITHER. WHEN MINUTE CLINIC IS OPEN YOU WAIT WITH ALL THE DRUG SEEKERS BACK THERE TWEAKING OVER WAITING ON ANYTHING THEY CAN GET FROM THE MINUTE CLINIC. ONE PHARMACIST WORKING AND 3 OR 4 TECHS, BUT ONLY EVER ONE WORKING *TWO* DRIVE THRU WINDOWS... THEY SUCK HUGE!! I SUGGEST YOU GO TO WYATTS IN LITHIA SPRINGS, MAY BE A LITTLE FURTHER BUT ITS A LARGE CHRISTIAN FAMILY RUN SMALL TOWN PHARMACY THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT THE PEOPLE THEY SERVE. THE PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE...WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT CORPORATE PHARMACIES UNDOUBTEDLY DONT DO ANY LONGER. IM *DONE* WITH THIS CVS IN DALLAS, GA. I HOPE THE DEA PAYS THEM A NICE VISIT OR 50 AND SCRUTINIZES THEIR PRACTICES QUITE HEAVILY!!

Horrible and unhelpful compared to Kaiser experience. Coming to pick up refill, was told its on hold because they dont have it. I ask do I have to get it somewhere else or will they have it today because it is antibiotic so I have to take it on time. She says it will be ready in an hour. In an hour it still shows on hold on the app, calling is unsuccessful, so I drive again after 1 hour and 20 minutes only to be told it is still on hold cause my insurance wont pay cause refill is too soon. Which didnt make sense but Ok, but why couldnt anybody notify me? So I want to pay but that will require new sticker so it will be ready in 15 minutes. Are you serious? It takes 15 minutes to put on a sticker? 15 minutes later I still cant pick it up because it was refilled just 3 days ago. Which is impossible because I didnt have a refill and just called Dr office today for refill. So another 10 minutes to resolve that. So over 2 hours later I finally get it during third trip. NIGHTMARE.

The worst customer service I have experience! Ive been using them since 1998 (Florida and Ga) for all of my kids & my prescription needs. Today I called waited almost 30 mins in total for a person to come back to the phone ( first time 20+mins/ hung up called back roughly 10mins) then the person answering doesnt understand English enough to assist me. I simply asked how much my prescription would cost he says he doesnt have a profile on me. I said well maybe the doctor sent to the wrong location as there are 2 cvs on this street. He tells me he doesnt have access to their system to pull the prescription. Then starts yelling I DONT HAVE ACCESS!!!! This is the 1st CVS THAT DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO FILL OR PULL PRESCRIPTIONS FOR TRANSFER FROM ONE CVS TO ANOTHER. This same person about a month ago filled the wrong prescription for me personally and I had to go with out my BP meds when I called and told him it was urgent and I needed them filled right away.

I would have given it one star, but they are open 24 hours, so thats worth at least two stars right there. Most of the Pharmacists are pretty good people, cvs just works them too hard and therefore they cant give you the good customer service as you are used to if you come from a small town with a small town pharmacy. Some of the Pharmacists are buttholes and think they know more than your doctor does. They NEVER, and I mean NEVER, have my prescription on hand in the quantity that I need, and it is a maintenance drug, so they know that i have to have it every month and they dont even attempt to keep it in stock. The drive thru is a joke, expect a 15 minute wait on the good days. As for going inside, oh dear jumpin jack sprat, it is a nuthouse. I hate the place, but my insurance uses them. I do have to mention the nice Asian Pharmacist on night shift, she always treated me so politely and she truly wanted to help me. I just think the world of her.

I wouldnt even give them one star if Google didnt make me. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt despite the negative reviews; however, the reviews are spot on. 2 weeks ago I had a prescription filled that needed a quantity of 12 pills. Only ONE pill was in the bottle. I had surgery this morning and just went to have my percocet prescription filled- quantity of 10. When i got home, i noticed they only put SEVEN in there. They refused to give me the other three saying their numbers arent off. Yeah your numbers arent off because someone is pocketing extra pills. Im not a pill addict and hopefully I dont even need to take all 10- but its the principle. Worst pharmacy I have ever been to- avoid them if you can.
