Upon entering I noticed the seating is pretty close to one another. It was difficult to walk when a server was walking in your direction - you had to take turns. While waiting NOTHING was brought out as far as appetizers - this was unexpected as it was our first time and we came for dinner after going all day without eating. I ordered chicken and dumplings for my son and when it arrived, it was not only bland but it was extremely cold. Our server was nowhere to be found so we brought it to the attention of another gentleman only to be told that our server would have to assist us. The server only refilled our drinks ONCE during our dinner. It wasnt until 20 minutes later (10-15 minutes into dinner) we flagged her down to refill my daughters drink - in the meantime my daughter had to drink my glass. I was forced to replace my sons meal with mac n cheese because the chicken and dumplings were not only extremely bland but it was absolutely cold -they must have only heated up the bowl. While not even halfway into our dishes, we were served our damn receipt. We felt rushed and although there were only four of us, she decided the table next to us was more important because it was a larger party. It was a busy night and the place was crowded but regardless, we were customers. We asked for dessert for our children and instead of her saying that shed be more than happy to get it or something, she said, can you hand me your receipt? and walked away as if she was inconvienced. We had to tell her twice two scoops of ice cream for my daughter and one scoop for my son. My daughter didnt know if she heard her say it, so she tried to tell her again but she walked away. It was so extremely loud, I could barely hear my 2 yr old yell Mommy. Food was eh... Hush puppies were the size of a quarter, shrimp tasted like something from sonic, corn tasted like it was out of a can, only thing good on my plate was broccoli and the coslaw. Chicken and dumplings are bland and cold and mac n cheese needed some seasonings. The server had the nerve to ask if were we happy, if everything was ok as were walking away in disgust and disappointment Never again will I go there. Heard such good things but never, ever again. Definitely not worth my money nor time. BTW, my poor son had a rather long hair in his mac n cheese. If this is how this company wants to treat their new guests, go ahead. We just dropped money in the gift shop - two presents worth 20.00 and candy worth 10.00

After being seated it took over 30 minutes for our order to be taken. Once our order was brought to the table our food was cold and had to be sent back. I requested to speak to the manager, he came to the table and took our food back to the kitchen it came back in a semi timely manner. He asked if the food was okay we said "yes" from the looks of the food. After we began eating the food it was tasteless and not the quality of food that we normally receive when we visit Cracker Barrel. I again asked for the manager he came back to the table and I informed him that the food was tasteless. His reply to me was "when I asked you how was the food you said yes". I relied to him "I said yes because the food looked good". He then said "why didnt you send it back", I told him "because we have been here for over 2 hours and my family was tired". He then said "give me your receipt and I will discount the bill". I replied to him " I can pay my bill I did not come for a free meal, I came for good food and great customer service, which I did not receive tonight". He took my receipt and discounted my meal. I then asked him his name he gave me his card he is Dwight Calbert.. As I looked at his card I saw that he was the associate manager, I was surprised. I could not believe that an associate manager would act that way with a customer who was not satisfied with the service they received. I also told him that I was a frequent customer there and would think twice about coming back as there are other restaurants in the area. As I mentioned earlier I am a frequent customer at this location so I know that this location prides itself on customer service and the taste of their food. I was really was disappointed with the service on Sunday.

Cracker barrel is one of my favorite restaurants. However, yesterday (October 26th, 2016) was my first time encountering bad service as if I was at waffle house. I took my fiance there for the first time so she could have a great experience. There was a great sized piece of an egg shell in the scrambled eggs that she ordered and once we showed the waitress, she replied, "Im sorry, we do use real eggs, it happens, do you want another egg." That is VERY Unprofessional as if people eat egg shells and it just so happens. Afterwards, she over poured my fiance glass of water. Almost half of the table got wet, water was splashed on to my fiance plate (thankfully she was finished eating), the ticket got entirely soaked, so while were waiting to leave, we also have to wait for another ticket to be printed. We shared our experience with the cashier (Barbara) that was totally nice and professional. She asked if we wanted to share our experience with the manager, and we respectfully declined because we had already been waiting to leave and was ready to get home. NO ONE should experience any visit such as my fiance and I did. Treat guest the way YOU would want to be treated please. Very Respectfully.

We eat at Cracker Barrel quite often; but the last couple of times the food has been cold...the potatoes so stiff you could hardly tell if it was a baked potatoe or mashed... ( it was mashed)so skimpy on the gravy might as well not have any at all! But the LAST 2 times I had broccoli it was so hard I could hardly eat it! Now I love steamed veggies but this is definitely NOT STEAMED...it was just thrown in the pan and simmered a minute or two and put on my plate! The waiter was wonderful! He didnt cook the food and the restaurant WAS NOT busy and I thought we would never get our food! Whats going on Cracker Barrel? We have had wonderful meals at Cracker Barell but it has really taken a dive in the last few months! The wait staff mostly been superb!

Cracker Barrel is a solid go to anytime of the day for Mamas Pancake Breafast. I love their pancakes with the little jars of maple syrup and their thick cut bacon. Also, Cracker Barrel must be the only restaurant that serves real orange juice and not some simulated yellow drink from concentrate. They also serve healthy options if your heart desires. This location can get very busy on the weekend and after church on Sundays.

Worst experience i have had at any restaurant! I ordered eggs and hasbrowns to-go and was told it would be ready in 20 mins, waited for over an hr still was not ready.no one even tried to give an explanation as to why i was still waiting. I had to leave so i wouldnt be late for wrk but spoke with some woman in managemnt who was rude, and unapologetic.Still do not know why foid was never made. Do not eat here, wadte of time.
