***BUYER BEWARE*** You had better make double sure you are buying exactly what you want. Or make super sure your significant other (wife, husband, etc.) wants what youre buying. There are NO REFUNDS whatsoever. They will offer store credit, but if youre like me and dont wear a lot of jewelry then youre pretty much S.O.L. Also, you could give it as a gift to someone else.... Buuuut, my family all live out of state and dont really wear jewelry either... Now, that being said, the employees that I spoke with - including the owner (husband talked to him) - were all extremely friendly. Unfortunately Im stuck with a $250 necklace chain that is too short (and that I did not want to begin with). Lets give you, the reader, a little backstory... It was the middle of November when he asked what I would like for Christmas this year. I took to Amazon with a frenzy. My list was chocked full of anything from a spice rack on up to a new living room set and everything in between... Heck, I even consolidated lists from previous years with the new things I was picking out (there were close to 50 things to choose from - all I would have been happy to receive). However, on December 24th is when he finally did his Christmas shopping... I dreaded it when I saw the charge from this company... But, hey, he did a good job last year - I should have nothing to fear... Christmas morning......... I opened the box and had to hold back tears from what was in it. A $250 necklace chain.... Why did it hit so hard? I should be thankful he got anything at all... Dont get me wrong, the sentiment was nice.... But I have had this happen so many times before.... "What would you like?" they ask. "Gift cards or heres a list". Im a pretty simple gal really.... Mainly because MOST places offer returns and refunds... Unfortunately, it looks like Im off to a different jewelry store or a pawn shop to try and recoup some of the money that has been lost to Cartersville Jewelry Exchange... Just wanted to close with a reiteration that the staff were all nice - unfortunately I do not agree with their return/exchange policy. When asked why it was this way - its because they do not have a gemologist or metal(ologist?) on site and would not be able to tell if the piece your selling to them or returning is actual real jewelry and not costume pieces... Now, that being said, what if I had taken and replaced the gold necklace chain I had purchased with costume jewelry and then came in and exchanged it for an item for the same price? Wouldnt you be out that amount of money anyway? Heck, we even offered for them to basically buy the item from us, but was told that they wouldnt do that either. Seems odd to me. I wouldnt mind taking a hit of $50-$75 seeing as how you would make that much once you sold it to another person, but hey, thats just me. So, be careful, and I would recommend shopping where you can get your money back if theres an issue.

I bought my weddings rings from here, and the girl that sold them was pleasant enough, as were some of the store clerks and a few of the managers. But the past few days when I called to check on my ring the reoccurring response was " Well, well call you when its ready." when I said thank you, before my returning response was " My pleasure" With this girl it was only " Un huh, or yep." Too bad, Id heard a few unpleasant things about this store from a few of my friends and I was about to tell them how wrong they really were. But bouts of poor customer service and their policy on lay-ways kind of ruined any positive referral I would have given them. My advice, look for a more soft spoken girl or one of the managers in the store, as they give the best service over the more outspoken clerks who dont seem to care about curtsy. Also, if you layaway any product keep in mind they NEVER give refunds, so you better love what you get, or be prepared to find something else that they sell that you do. Will probably give another review once I have my rings ( once they are in to pick up) as to how my end experience was.

I went into sell some jewelry for some extra money because we were going on vacation . A ring that belonged to my husband that he no longer wanted and some diamond earrings that I dont wear anymore. Im not upset about the price they gave me, Im upset with the way the man spoke to me. I didnt feel the price was fair for the ring (my husband told me not to take less than 300) so I asked how much for just the earrings. He said he wasnt interested before I could even finish my sentence. Making me feel like my earrings were fake or something. If you dont want to buy stones dont say that you do! The little girl that worked there apologized for the way he talked to me and explained that stones do not resale for very much ( this is really all the guy had to say too, he just chose to be super rude) I went to stiles and they were much nicer. I told my husband if he ever bought me jewelry from cartersville jewelry exchange again Id throw it in his face. I hate this place.

I was looking for a ring to give my wife for our recommitment ceremony. Chelsea Walker helped me find a beautiful rose cut diamond that I know my wife would have loved. Chelsea was great. She was informative, friendly, and she knew exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, my wife stood me up at the ceremony and instead filed for divorce and ran off with her no-account ballroom dance partner (you might have seen them on So You Think You Can Dance). I hope they snap their shins. But I decided to keep the ring! Who knows? Maybe Chelsea would like it. Is she taken?

My husband bought me a pair of "diamond" earrings for Christmas. They hurt my ears so bad and considering I never could wear sterling silver. Im questioning what these earrings are really made of. The sales people were NO help when I wanted to exchange or get my money back, even more so when I compared them to the white gold earnings I already had. Guess the no refunds should have been a huge red flag, but lesson learned. Beware when buying from Carterville Jewelry Exchange!

We had a wonderful experience with Cartersville Jewelry Exchange. I recently had a diamond necklace reset. They were very helpful in picking the right setting for the stone - giving me the pros and cons of each style I chose. Very knowledgable. The necklace came out beautiful and exactly how I wanted it to look. I couldnt have been more satisfied with both the necklace and the service we received.

Diamond fell out of my wifes ring 4 months after we purchased it. We discussed the possibility of this happening and they said if it did and had no signs of damage they would "take care of us." When it did happen they refused to do anything. UNTRUSTWORTHY and POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP! We even took it to other jewelers who stated they could see no signs of damage and it must not have been set right...
