This store is a hot mess, and thats putting it lightly. The aisles are ALWAYS a complete wreck. The employees are the worst. I cant help but wonder of they are even interviewed prior to being offered a job. My goodness. I have never once gotten a "hello" when Ive walked in the store. Some of the employees put their phones beside the register and during transactions, theyre scanning items and singing instead of being focused on serving the customer at the register. I can count on one hand how many times Ive gotten a "have a nice day" after a transaction. Half of the time, I have to turn the bag rotator around to collect my bags because they wont do it . This is my neighborhood Dollar General, but I am seriously considering driving the extra mile to the one on Thornton Rd. Theyre a little more polite in there. Note to the employees: if you dont have a kind and upbeat attitude, areas of public service might not be the career path for you.

I worked there as a sales associate and it was my first job. I dont work there anymore. The employees there were okay, I liked some of them. But the Associate during the evening hours have a not so bright attitude. I was embarassed by the way she talked to me in front of the long line of customers because the register was acting up. Saying I was just standing there when it just started backed up. She had lack of patience and would be rude to customers toward closing time.The store is messy esp with the clothes and I couldnt work there anymore because of the night shifts, and the harassment I had with men customers after they would ask me for my number. If you work there, prefer day hours. The customers are good, its just a few that can come across as rude.

Trashy parking lot, trashy employees.. Theyre extremely pushy around 10 min till closing . . As my family and I were on our way home from six flags, we had to stop here and get a change of clothes because we were soaked. Mind you, we have a 3.5 hr drive home. . We dont wanna sit wet the whole way home so we run into the store to grab an outfit to make it home. The whole time we were yelled at by 2 female employees saying we had 5 min. then a min later says we have 3 seconds or wed have to put down our purchases. There was also another woman trying to find diapers for her child as we were getting the necessities. We will never come back to this Dollar General, nor will they receive any of our service any time we come back for our family trips to six flags.

Parking lot is always very filthy with trash and debris. The store is very cluttered and it appears that we spend more time standing in line to check out than we spend time shopping. The store is Not inviting. I prefer the store on Thornton Road because its friendlier and better laid out. Customer service is great on Thornton Road and they actually will assist customers if needed and they are extremely friendly. I may have a great deal to do with their work environment compared to the Dollar General store environment on Six Flags Drive/Riverside Parkway.

Customer service was horrible. There was at least 5 customers that wanted to shop but there was no shopping carts. The cashier was having trouble giving the customer in front of the line his change. Customer came back three times. It took me 45 minutes to pay for three items. Shouldve just took the drive to Kroger or Walmart. This is not just an experience for today but every time I visit this location which is walking distance from my home. Guess I will drive the extra distance to another store.:-(

This store is racist as hell I was standing in line with a black guy in front of me at 1 register, only white guy in the store no big deal, but when Im at 1 register you take the black guy in front of me close II register a black guy shows up behind me you open the register take him and close it again on me f*** the store theyre all racist as hell and theres just a bad environment to even go shopping at the employees are so depressing there. Dollar General get your s*** right with this store

Customer service is extremely bad. Managers have a habit of accusing all men with bookbags a an theif and demanding the leave their bookbag in the front where another customer can take it. I have also seen management and employees allow women with oversized purses to shop freely with no issue. I work in loss prevention for another retailer and these practices this dollar general has are horrific. Id love to talk to a district or regional manager about the practices this store uses

Not the best looking store, but employees are friendly. Always seems to be a long wait in line. Store is not very neat and organized. Parking lot usually looks bad too. Only really go here for convenience.
