Took my Camry to the xxxx Nation dealership for maintenance and got a flag on both front & Rear brakes. They were quoting a little over $700 to replace the brake etc. Feels like being ripped off and of course I started to call around since I do found a little bit of shake when brake. Find this store close to work and had them inspected the car, turns out I still have 60% in the front and even more in the rear. As Bryan, who took my call says, “I should still have a lot of mileage on it”. Normal shops will take the job and charge the customer as much as possible anyway since they are most likely ready to pay before they came in; not this one. They even suggest to leave the slightly warped rotor (which might be the cause of the shake)as it is until I replace the pad. When the car is indeed due for the brake replacement I’ll definitely come back to this store. Hard to find a honest shop like this and even harder to find one with great price.

Today My husband and I took our mini-van in for a new tire. Weve been replacing them one at a time as our finances would allow. Well when we went in, Allan the store manager explained that our time had run out. We needed to replace both of the last two old tires today, they were both bald to the point that they were showing cord. In addition to needing the tires, our front brakes were shot as well. Allan was great. He worked with us, allowing us to layer our PepBoys Rewards Gift card with several store coupons until we could get all the services we needed without totally destroying our budget. On top of that, their service department had us in an out with the two new tires, new brakes, and an alignment in less than two hours...and that was without an appointment. I dont just recommend this PepBoys, it is certainly the best experience weve ever had with auto maintenance and repair ever!!! Thank You Allan and your entire service department.

There is no meaning in taking an APPOINTMENT at this place!!! Its funny, they say that you need to wait for 2 and half hours for a oil change because they have ONLY ONE mechanic!!!! Rest all are suites who operate phone and computers!!!! I took an appointment for oil change and arrive on time... For my surprise they said I need to wait for 2.5hrs!!! The reason they gave me is they have only 1. Mechanic and previous job he working in is little big!!! Then hey the heck you dont inform your customer on this delay!!!! What is the meaning of an appointment... Its not done here... I asked can I finish my chores and come back in 2hrs...they said NO I need to drop my vehicle here only then I am in queue else NOT...what the F**** really???? Are you guys in SERVICE INDUSTRY!!!!! Never even plan any work at this place!!!!

First visit to Alpharetta location was 3 years ago for our Tahoe. Good tires, decent price, work did not require follow-up visit. Thus, when our tires wore out, we came back recently to get a new set of tires and front break work to a very different experience. The service customer rep gave us an initial estimate of $900 - $950 ("Definitely NOT more than $950!" he said) and upon arrival, tried to stick us with a $1150 bill and completely changed his story. After much hassle, we settled at $993. Absolutely NO integrity. You just cant go back to a place that will lie to your face like that.

I recently went into Pep Boys to have my car serviced and to get new tires. The guys behind the counter did a great job on quoting me a good price and getting it done in a timely manner. They did overly push to sell me any additional services that I really did not need or want; they respected that I am on a budget. Also, the mechanics were very nice and took time to explain everything to me in detail that they did to my car. If you are in the Alpharetta area and need service on your car, Pep Boys is a great shop!

Brian has to be the most polite and caring mechanic Ive seen in a while. I came in for a simple headlight change and he made me feel like I was his most important customer. I just moved to the area and I already know that when I pass the 4 other places that do what he does that Im going to the best. Other places Ive been to are complete A-holes and dont care about anything but cashing their check. Thanks Brian for doing what no one else seems to, care.

Great place! The man that worked on my van even took the time to show me the splitting that was happening to my tires which is due to a defect. He wasnt trying to sell me on a new set or anything just brought it to my attention so I can keep an eye on it and obviously once the splits connect all around to have them replaced. I appreciated the good eye he had and the time he took with me. Will definitely be back!!!

I went to pep boys, third set for the family at this location. They matched and beat Kaufman tires for a set of Continental extreme tires. Paul the store manager and Bryan handled the transaction. This the the one right in front of Publix on Atlanta highway just past campground on the left heading north. Get your tires from them good peeps good service.

Have been to multiple pep boys and every time I pay to get my car fixed I go to pick it up take it home and then my car wont start has happened twice already. After paying 600 dollars you would think my car could at least start the day after they "fix" my issue. Do not recommend these people to anyone and will not be taking my business there again.

Update: I went back and had a very crappy experience. I went for an oil change yesterday and I watched as the technician, David W., meticulously went through the change and inspection of the car. This is not a place to get a 15 min oil change by people who dont care. This is the place to go if you care about your car and the money you spend.

Dropped in for a Mobil One oil change. Kevin and Bryan were working hard but I was still in and out in less than a hour. The coffee was good and the restrooms were immaculate. Both Kevin and Bryan were courteous, helpful and gave me several recommendations for my car. Excellent experience !!

Wouldnt recommend them. I came here in hopes that someone might do a basic coolant change. I walked in at 6:00 pm. They told me that they were closing up already. They close at 7pm. Im pretty sure they could have helped but were just too lazy. I would have paid whatever it took too.

I had some tires installed by them and had all my wheel weights come off a mile up the road. Went in for a balance and rotation and the guy up front seemed like he was uninterested in customer service and was rude. Will not be coming back to this particular Pep Boys.

I use this PB to service all of my cars and get great service! The guys doing service are very friendly and knowledgable! Usually, you can get in and out quickly and they never push other unnecessary services.
