This is a well run, clean thrift store that charges low fair prices for used clothing, toys, furniture, household items and BOOKS. I like the book section. They rotate it with another store and have new items each week. I visit the store about once a week and have always been pleased by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Plus my children enjoy the videos and toys. Last week I found a metronome for our piano for $6. The clothing at this store is in the well used category, but the prices are accordingly low. They also have surprisingly nice used furntiure for sale. This is not a higher end thrift store, but a very nice one for working families who have to dress and entertain growing children.

Sadly nowadays many Thrift Stores sell "new" items rejected from Dollar stores & disguised as bargains-but priced even higher. Not this Lighthouse! I buy Furniture, Clothing, linens for my own use & to help other needy families set up House. Im proud to give these items as gifts~or to keep for myself! I also Donate my own items here since I find so many Treasures! Please do the same~it will make you feel good too! Theres only 1 problem in my mind~I cannot spend as much time & money here as I would like because it is so hot & muggy in the Store. My Allergies wear me out! Maybe a good Samaritan can possibly Donate an AC Unit.

I love love love this place!!! Its my obsession really :-) and the people that work there or so friendly :-) and I honestly dont know why you would Thrift anywhere else... as with any place that runs off donations , some days are better than others, but Im going to tell you you cant beat some of the clothes thats fine theyre at the prices that they have them and the Throwback Thursdays are the best! :-)

Great place if shopping for clothes, purses... Furniture not too good...have to time it just right to catch a good selection of furniture pieces. Overall great place to shop!!

In my opinion, this is the best thrift store in Winter Haven. Its large and they have a lot of non-clothing merchandise.
