I did not purchase anything from this place. I simply went in to inquire about an exam, lenses, and frames for my boyfriend. They offered to clean my glasses and broke them! They tried to play it off by saying "they were already cracked" but if they saw they were cracked, which they werent, they why proceed to clean them and not treat them delicately? They did do me the courtesy of crazy glueing the frame together, thanks so much! My frame is now glued to the lense. They did not offer to compensate me for the damage they caused. Please be cautious of this place or better yet do not give them your business. For some reason Im unable to respond to your response to my review. Thank you for responding so promptly to my comment about my experience. Unfortunately I do not wish to come in and purchase any of your products due to the experience I had combined with your comment stating, "I will pay you 4X the value of that frame ($20) toward a new pair, plus an additional 20% off the total" I never shared with you the cost or value of my frames so the fact that you assumed the value to be that low is insulting, inapproprate, and completely incorrect. We did discuss the difference in quality frames however you seem to be forgetting that my frames are in fact plastic with metal hinges not plastic hinges. You held my glasses prior to your associate cleaning them and never reported a crack in the frame. It was only until after she was cleaning them, broke the frame, and popped the lense out did your say that you saw a crack on them before she ever touched them. I do not appreciate your dishonestly and your recollection of how things happened are also incorrect. I feel that then and there you should have offered to do more than glue my frame and lense together. Myself and my boyfriend will not be returning to your establishment to giving you any business.

I had lenses made at a big box store. Horrible experience. First they couldnt make the lenses. (It took them over three weeks) Then they could not fit the frames to my face. The temples hurt me and I had been back three times for adjustments. They still hurt and one temple was now all twisted. I didnt know what to do. These were high end frames that I had purchased elsewhere. I came home and googled Opticians in Vero Beach. I found Treasure Coast Opticians. I called and spoke with Eric Smith. I explained my situation and he told me to stop in. Im so glad I did! I could not be any more pleased. Eric was knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. He restored my frames back to their original condition and then fitted them to my face perfectly. This is what an Optician should be. While I was there I could not help noticing the beautiful selection of frames they carry and the whole experience made me realize that I will not be getting my glasses made at the big box store any longer. Glasses are important, I wear them everyday, I want to work with an Optician who takes the time to do things right. It may cost a few dollars more but it is money well spent. I will be back to Treasure Coast Opticians for my next pair of glasses! Thanks again, Eric.

Best....eye...exam...visit....EVER! My poor eyes! I dont trust them to just anyone, so I was very skeptical about trying this new place (new place for me). However, I started the new year out with a great decision! I am soooo happy! The people here are so courteous, respectful, patient, and very accommodating! I especially liked my time spent with Dr. Stubits. Best optometrist I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, and I have been seeing eye doctors since my teen years. He is so knowledgeable, and he makes great use of todays technology for caring for your eyes. Very respectful man with great "bedside" manners and and takes the time to educate his patients. And, I really appreciate the rest of the staff for being so patient and accommodating with me (sometimes, I can be a hassle to deal with). Im telling you, I do not regret making the decision to go here. I only regret not knowing this place sooner, because I didnt know you can get such great service for what you would think would be just a simple eye exam! Keep up the great work, TCO! P.S. I was getting ready to leave the country for a month when I suddenly broke my only pair of glasses. I went to several places around Miracle Mile, but no one could help me in time for my departure. My last hope (which should have been my first) was to stop in Treasure Coast Opticians, next to Sumo House Restaurant (which is very good by the way). Dr. Cho gave me a very thorough eye exam and my Tom Ford glasses were done in 3 days. My vision was very clear and my trip abroad was saved because of the wonderful staff. Thank you Darrin and Dr. Cho.

This place was a great find! The courtesy and professionalism exhibited was sincere and more than expected. Frame selection, the best. Frame fit, unsurpassed. Dan did an excellent job adjusting my new glasses until they were totally comfortable. Prescription for the progressives were right the first time. Sunglasses are next on my list. I would highly recommend Treasure Coast for anything you need between your eyes and the outside.
