Breakfast, lunch, light dinner, desserts and more, according to the menu at Cravings along the Atlantic Ocean in Vero Beach. Ive eaten here before and never had a complaint. Busy cafe that touts 10 different fresh brewed coffee blends daily and 24 flavors of super premium homemade ice cream. Plenty of street parking - remember its along the ocean and near Humiston Park, so they have a captive audience. The wait isnt offensive and it gives you plenty of time to review the menu. My oldest and youngest wanted to visit on this particular occasion. Ice cream by the ounce they wanted. As for me, I ordered a large Vanilla Malt. Cravings is the only place in Vero Beach that Ive been able to order a Malt. Speaking of a Malt, its too bad that one cannot order an Egg Cream. Hint, hint. Friendly staff and no issues with our order. For the life of me, I cant remember his name, but our server was the black gentlemen that worked at Patisserie Vero Beach prior to is closing. Wears a really cool hat all the time, but I really forgot his name. We spoke for a few minutes and he is getting used to the new job. I didnt gig him because it took more than a minute to find the Malt powder. After all, new place and new job - it will take a minute to learn where to find things. Outdoor seating is a plus. It does appear that most customers take their orders to go. Prices were competitive and not offensive. Remember, they are along the ocean in the "high rent" district. While others may complain that menu prices are high, the way I look at it is simple. This is Cravings - not Carvel. You know the price before you order. If its too expensive - dont order and go elsewhere. Thats my review and - like it or not - Im sticking by it. Bill Lewis Fort Lauderdale, Florida

This summer one evening, while on vacation in Vero Beach Florida, known as the “Gateway to the Tropics," along Florida’s Treasure Coast, my wife and I had a craving for ice cream. We got in the car and started to drive. It only took us two blocks to see many people sitting outside a local ice cream shop. This would be all that we needed. So parked the car and went inside. The selections of ice cream were many, similar to a Baskin Robbins. One unique thing is that the ice cream is scooped out and either put into a cone or bowl. That is not the unique part, that part is you pay for your ice cream by the weight. We both had two scoops in a bowl and cost was a little under $2 per scoop. Very good ice cream and the service was friendly. Going back to try their breakfast pastries and a cup of coffee as there were many flavors to choose.

Have been a loyal customer of Cravings for the last 3 years. On visit today ordered salted carmel ice cream. It tasted bad and different. Cravings employee said they had changed ice cream suppliers They replaced the salted carmel with Moose Tracks and Cookie Dough.. After a couple of bites of each my wife and I threw the rest into one of Cravings trash cans. It left a plastic taste in our mouth. We, our family and friends will not return to Cravings until they return to their former ice cream vendor. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Let their owner and manager know you saw this.

If you are on a special diet (gluten free, sugar free, meat free, etc.) this is the place to be. The rolls, pastries, and breads all seemed to be specialty items. We had breakfast there - bacon/egg panini, and sausage/egg panini. The meats and also the eggs felt like they were prepackaged - like maybe they unwrapped some precooked fried egg and put it on the bread. We had ice cream there later that was very very good. And if I were a vegan or on a gluten free diet Im sure I would have loved it.

Wow! A place in Vero Beach/Sebastian that has vegetarian and vegan options, this alone was enough to make it amazing. The really outstanding part though was the taste, it is truly great food and this slightly unexpected but pleasantly surprised and appreciated. The coffee is also pretty good. I think that in the scheme of things, for a town like this (I was raised here and was just visiting), this is going to be one of the best option around for a vegan or vegetarian. :)

I can se a lot of people like it as I used to, to a certain extent. The great disappointment was the day I went in for breakfast and ordered one of their croissants. The filling was fine but the "croissant" part was a chewy bread, like what you get from the popular grocery stores. I understand some people would have no objection but I attended a French high school eating croissants mostly every day. So, please dont call it a croissant. You can call a pastry.

We are from out of town but come to Vero Beach to visit family at least once a year. We make a habit of getting to Cravings as much as possible. My daughter starts talking the place before we even get here. The ice cream is really good, the baked goods are delicious and the staff is friendly. I havent had their sandwiches but I may try a smoothie tomorrow.

Was looking forward to a local place for ice cream. Plenty of flavors however quality was what you can find at your local grocery store. Not sure how you advertise sundaes and not have hot fudge either. Their cost is not per scoop but by weight. ?? Puzzling to be asked if your cone has enough in it. Dont think I will try other items

All the staff is friendly, they have the best selection of sandwiches, ice cream and deserts, I love sitting outside to eat, the location is great. After a day at the beach or shopping, this is a nice low key place to come and relax. At night you sometimes can hear the music from the restaurant nearby. Love this place.

My family was here for vacation and we got all different flavors of ice cream and they pretty much all were tasteless. I got toasted coconut and i felt like i was eating non flavored ice cream. Maybe it was a bad batch but we threw ours away. Staff was friendly though.

Every time we go to Vero Beach we just have to get ice cream here. Ive liked the food Ive tried and the kids loved the cookies. Staff is always so nice. Its small inside but there is plenty of seating outside. Cafe con Leche was as good as any that I had in Miami.

Very busy in the evenings with ice cream business. Lots of selections and toppings. Quite limited seating inside, so plan on licking fast as soon as you step out into the South Florida sunshine! Who could say a bad thing about an ice cream place, really? :-)

The worst service Ive ever received. Icecream was expensive and old. Also, the owner/management was rude and treated the employees poorly in front of the myself and other customers. Customers BEWARE..Not a family friendly location!

Service is good. Friendly atmosphere. The food is good quality with different variety of food products. Examples are: Ice cream ,root beer floats, sandwiches, soups and variety of flax seeds to take home.
