Called to inquire about 2 pastel sticks and the guy (Terry) was rude, wouldnt even check to see if they had the pastels before I made the 30 minute drive to their store to give them my business. I understand they had other customers to deal with, but it would have been more reasonable to put me on hold or have me call back rather than to lose my business for good just because you dont want to take 60 seconds to check a product. They need to lose this employee before they lose more customers.

Very surprising to find this huge store that carries anything imaginable related to arts and crafts in this tiny little town. AND they even teach classes. Jeanne taught a class one morning and I was her only student. She is wonderful. If you are in Vero even for a week (we were there only 5 nights) and have a yen for this type thing, run, dont walk to this store and check out their offerings. Every single staff member were VERY friendly and helpful.

I visited the store for the first time with my family to buy some painting supplies. Although the store emoloyees walked right by us while we were sesrching for irems, we were never asked if we needed help. When we checked out the clerk did not make eye contact once and did not greet us. She said nothing. Very odd experience. I would NOT recommend this store unless you are into the twilight zone.

I highly recommend Crafts & Stuff as a friendly, locally owned arts & crafts supplier. They have a solid selection of painting & drawing supplies, and a moderate supply of various other items such as fabric, beads, etc. Avoid feeding big-business, cookie-cutter designed and operated establishments such as Michaels - and support your local businesses! - or, just come because its a good place.
