WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DONT GO TO THE STORE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TREATED THIS WAY!!! Today at 5pm I had worst experience ever as a customer!!! My boyfriend is currently out of country, and he ordered in advance roses for me for Valentines Day, this is the receipt on 250$. So the roses were not delivered to the apartment where I live, and I had to go to the store, and ask why is that? There were 3 workers at that time, woman who I talked to was old lady. She was so disrespectful, her voice and attitude towards me were awful. She called me a LIAR, and said that I came to the store just like that to because I have no other things to do, and that she is busy with another customers. However I was in the line and waited my turn. So next I explained to her, that I have no pleasure to be at this time here and lying about whole this situation, and if I lied obviously I would not have the receipt from the store. After all of these bullshit I went through while talking to her, she finally managed to call the deliver guy and he said that HE DIDNOT DELIVER IT TO MY APARTMENT, but to the office. However, my boyfriend left my number to them and NOBODY CALLED. They just accused me of being a liar, and that I received flowers and was complaining just like that! I do not know what to do the office is closed and I am really sad from the woman who made it so personal to me, that I feel I am no longer welcomed at any store. Because she said to the other stuff NOT TO TALK TO ME, and when I was asking questions about my boyfriends order for me, THEY WERE NOT REPLYING, LIKE I DONT EXCIST. She left to the another room, and I asked stuff to call her, but they said just leave the store after basically I spent 250$ in there. That was so awful! I literally just cried in my car and left.

Its unfortunate that I have to rate this florist so low, as they provided a high quality arrangement for a very fair price, and they delivered it right on time. However, there is a lapse in integrity with this florist that greatly disturbed me. Whenever you go to check out with your order online, you are provided with your total cost, which consists of your purchase price, tax, and a $7.95 delivery price. The checkout page asks for your credit card number, and then asks you to confirm this is the amount you want charged on your credit card. When you click confirm, you are sent an e-mail confirming you agreed to pay the price shown. What they dont tell you is that your delivery price may actually vary from $7.95 to $16.95 depending on where the flowers are being delivered to, and they will not notify you that they are charging your credit card an additional delivery fee. I agreed to the price that I confirmed to pay, and charging anymore without notifying or confirming with me first is a tremendous breach of integrity that exists between buyer and seller. My girlfriend lives just down the street from this store, and they still charged me an additional $2 delivery fee, so expect to pay more than what you agree to. The $2 wasnt an issue, the arrangement was still more than worth the price, but I cant condone the act of additionally charging my credit card without my permission.

Placed an order for 8 custom centerpieces for a formal company party from A Special Rose. I had provided the florist with custom Top Hats to hold the flower arrangements - I was using the Top Hats to bring in my party theme. I paid on a credit card ahead of time and even confirmed the order a couple days before. On the day of the party I was scheduled to pick the fresh flower centerpieces up at the store - but when I got to the florist, they were closed (this was at least 2 hours before their posted hour of closing). I called them several times, pounded on the door and there was no answer. So I was without my centerpieces and our Top Hat decorations for our formal company party. The next week I was told that apparently the owner was out of town and the employees just decided to close early because they wanted to go home. In the end I was refunded with the amount I paid, but their unprofessionalism made me look bad and took away from the theme of our party. The owner seemed nice enough, but beware of using this florist for anything important or you might be sorry like I was.

I currently live in Salt Lake City, but originally am from the Tampa area and the local florist that I had always used apparently had gone out of business. I needed to send birthday flowers to a dear friend in Lutz. I called on a Saturday and briefly explained what I was looking for and told her that I trusted her professional opinion to make something beautiful. I gave her my ballpark budget (excluding delivery) and left it up to her. She gave me my price and I paid site-unseen. The flowers reached my friend that afternoon, she sent me a picture and I was so pleased. It was gorgeous and just right for the occasion - and much more creative than anything Ive ever sent from FTD/Pro Flowers, etc. I got to support a local business as well as receive a stellar product - win/ win! I would definitely recommend this florist to a friend.

I NEVER write reviews but this florist was the worst. I came in and had to wait for the phone to ring before someone came out, when they did i showed a picture of exactly what i wanted (from their site) explaining the color, flowers, and that i wanted no greens (leaves and such) added. 85$ later i got a large bouquet of greens and dead flowers that i couldve made better myself spending $30 at publix. and it would have been fresher. fitting that this place is next to a gas station. dont waste your time or money, go to publix or a different florist.

I was holding a 60s party for my wife turning 60 and came up with the idea of giving everyone a daisy at the door. I had talked to another florist before and got put off by the hidden fees approach they took. A Special Rose Florist explained how the daisies came and then she suggested we try daisy headbands for my wife and daughters. Everything turned out great. The daisies were fresh, the head bands with daisies and babies breath were beautiful and carefully packaged and the price was very reasonable. I would go here again.

We stopped in the day before prom and they put together a beautiful corsage for our daughter. When we went to pick it up, we found out that her friend didnt have a corsage, her dad had called about 20 minutes earlier and ordered it. No problem! It was ready and beautiful! They were very pleasant and accommodating and did a wonderful job! I was very impressed. I had always thought just go to Publix but this was way better and very affordable. I highly recommend A Special Rose!

I used her for my Sweet 16 and it was just beautiful! We originally planned for her to just set up the day before but she insisted on coming just 2 hours before the party to make sure the flowers were at their freshest. Also, since my party was Disney themed, we had a different movie for each table and she got all of the colors and themes right and even included her own little props to help bring out each theme. Overall, I loved it and would definitely recommend!! :D
