This is a very hit or miss shop. The sales floor is always very cluttered - merchandise is in piles on the shelves and can be hazardous to sort through. The aisles are narrow, and the books seem totally unorganized. However, every now and then you will find a great item for cheap, so its worth a quick visit from time to time. However, most of the time its better to visit the Goodwill around the corner on N Monroe St.

Salvation Army came out to my place to pick up a bed frame but they couldnt take it because I told them that it is very difficult to disassemble. It was probably made it Europe. The kind gentlemen told me about Teen Challenge and that they probably had the space to display it. I called Teen Challenge and they came out and got it not even an hour later. Thank you so much for the great suggestion!

Forget Goodwill if you have a chance to donate and or purchase from the Salvation Army I suggest you do so they are truly helping people out in need and passing on a great value four products to Consumers without excessive greed and without being disconnected from their true goal and reason for doing what they do

Ive quit taking food to second harvest so now I take all my canned goods ( I go get new ones ) on sale and bogo to them. Unlike 2nd harvest they are truly grateful to get them. I take my other stuff to their store too. They do an awful lot of good in the world and the hood.

Stopped to donate a computer chair st Salvation Army. There was no one around to help me unload it. Take your donations to Lucky Duck on North Monroe Street across from Wal-Mart where they are always helpful and appreciate your contribution.l

This organization is the real deal. I was there one day when a homeless person asked about getting clothes. They were helped. The prices are very responsible.
