Store is not the place to go to for saltwater fish. Id be going to this location for a long time getting saltwater freshwater and other fish from him, without knowing what he was actually selling me. The water they sell there that is labeled Rodi, is nothing more but glorified tap water. I had been having nothing but bad results in my tank for the longest time, and had been throwing a lot of time money and effort into trying to making it look better. After doing some research and with the help from a friend I understood that I needed to test the water he was selling me, because everything else was testing normal. After testing his water, his Rodi water was testing at 0.150 ( it should normally read at 0.5 ) which is unacceptable to call Rodi, and should not be sold to customers. I talked to one of the employees about it and got nothing but a shoulder shrug. He told me that hes aware of it and that the filters on the Rodi unit need to be changed. For these reasons I will no longer be shopping at the store. They do however seem to have a nice selection of birds reptiles and other species, but I would not buy anything else from that store

I love this very small store! knowledgeable staff, always friendly. They have quality fish and products galore. I always like to support hometown businesses and when they are like this its a real pleasure. I have saltwater aquarium and a parrot and buy supplies for both on a regular basis. Their bird seed mixes and pelleted foods are fresh and not rancid best price on branches of millet. My bird loves it and its so inexpensive. Never had moths come from the seed mixes I think all bird owners know what I am talking about.

I HAVE DEALT WITH DANNY SINCE I FIRST MOVED TO ST AUGUSTINE WHEN HE AND HIS PARENTS RAN THE SHOP. I HAVE PARROTS AND HAVE ALWAYS PURCHASED MY SEED FROM THEM. THE SHOP IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND INVITING EVERYONE IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IF I HAVE QUESTIONS. I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN ANY BAD SEED FROM THEM, UNLIKE MY EXPERIENCE FROM WALL-MART! (OPENED THE CONTAINER FROM WALL-MART AND AT LEAST 8 MOTHS FLEW OUT) THE SEED ALWAYS HAS A GREAT CITRUS SCENT AND IS BUG FREE. DANNY AND AL ARE GREAT.

Danny and Al are so knowledgable, and very helpful! Their stock is awesome, and you can always count on the best advice around. Many times Ive been in and theyve advised me against spending money needlessly...not many LFS can say that! I cant imagine getting my fish and supplies anywhere else!

A great locally owned pet store! I started shopping there when I was 15yrs old and could afford my own pets (reptiles). A lot has changed over the last 20yrs (location and I buy saltwater fish/coral now), but Dan is still there running a great pet store!!

Pet World is the best. I have been a patron for years. They are a specialized pet store. They know animals from fish to birds and the products to keep them healthy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You wont be sorry you have shopped there.

I have two ball pythons and this is the only store in town that sells live feeder mice in multiple sizes. They also have lots of fish, birds, and currently some chinchillas. The staff is super nice and helpful with any questions you have.

Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Fish are typically healthy and they work to custom order for you. The staff doesnt try to sell you stuff, and will tell you when you dont need something, even if it costs them a sale.
