I am absolutely astonished by the horrible & deceitful salesmanship experience I have had from APRIL at this store. APRIL is the used "car salesman" of the furniture industry. Do not purchase from her. On our 1st time in this store she pressured us into purchasing a dining set in the store. At the time of purchase I said multiple times that I did not like the chairs but she continued to pressure. We were purchasing the set for a new house that we werent closing on for another month out. Once we got the set, it became clear that it didnt match our other furniture as it wasnt really our style. Since this is a warehouse, they only allow 7 days to return from delivery and then its only store credit. This honestly would would be a fine policy if it werent for the how pushy APRIL was. Anyway. We accepted this and returned the set for store credit. Our new home is about an hour away from Sarasota. We returned to the store about 3 months later to use our credit- tried to avoid April but since she had handled the 1st sales, the store policy must state that she has to continue to work with us. This time we chose 2 chairs that she sold us. There was a balance after the credit was used that we paid. At the time of the sale she said "we only have 2 of these chairs in stock" at the warehouse. At that time she tried effortlessly to make a backup plan with us in case one of the chairs was damaged at the warehouse. She offered to let us pick up a floor model from another location or tried to pressure us into getting a color that we did not want. She did all this JUST in case one of the 2 remaining chairs in stock was damaged when we went to pick it up. So the next day we call the warehouse to let them know we are on the way to pick up our order and are then told that they dont know why we were sold this because they only have 1 of these chairs in stock. Based on her bizarre behavior trying to find a backup plan at the time of sale, I know without a doubt that April sold us these 2 chairs knowing that they didnt have them in stock. April should be fired. I have never had such a horrible experience with any business before.

Worst experience ever. Purchased a new bedroom set, they didnt have my bed in stock so had to wait a whole month. My mattress came defected, and they had to give me a new one. But when my bed arrived it was not installed correctly, it made so much noise that when we moved in our sleep we would wake up from it. Complained and they sent a guy in who told me he needed to order new parts. Then they tell me it comes from over seas so I have to wait another month for it. It has been 2 months that my brand new mattress is on the floor in my living room. If it was a cheap bed I would understand but I paid over $2K for everything. Sales rep recommend buying pillows too, which was the biggest mistake ever because they are not comfortable and cost $100 and you cant return them at all. Worst purchase Ive ever made, wish I knew this before wasting money and time. Better to spend a little more at other stores than to get crappy furniture. Really, really upset with this.

Very disappointed! I bought a dining room set with two captain chairs and 6 regular chairs. The cushions on the chairs came loose from the wood and the arms of both captains chair became detached. I phoned customer service and spoke with a very rude woman who told me that there is nothing she can do about it. This occurred before the set had even been used. I also bought a bunk bed and the slats on the bottom bed broke due to the shoddiness of the wood. Again I was told there is nothing they can do about it. I additionally bought two chairs and a couch. The seams have ripped and there is now wood sticking out of the back of the couch. I bought the furniture at the same time. I also spoke with owner who was as rude as the woman in customer service.

Manager Kim Hayward greeted us with a smile, found out our needs, directed us to the kind of furniture we might be interested in, left us to explore. No pressure, knowledgeable, pleasant, Kim checked back with us occasionally.we went back the next day to purchase. A flyer had our interest and we looked at a totally different set, signed on the spot. Delivery was set up and has been perfectly executed for two pieces, waiting on the third from the factory. Kim and FW were and are awesome.

We chose to pick up our purchases from the warehouse. At our request, the warehouse employees were patient and kind enough to open and inspect the contents of each box before loading them into our vehicle. We found one of the pieces damaged and with broken glass. They quickly retrieved another box, inspected it as well, repackaged the pieces, and didnt load the boxes until we were completely satisfied. They did all this without any hesitation and were very cordial and respectful.

We had a very pleasant experience shopping at this store. We purchased a loveseat, coffee table and end tables. There was no pressure by the salesman. Our purchases were delivered the next day. The delivery was on time and the delivery men were very professional. We are very happy with the quality of the furniture and the service at Furniture Warehouse in Sarasota. We highly recommend this furniture store. We are going back today to look at lamps.

We bought Living Room and Dining Room Furniture and had a great experience while shopping there. Gayle and Kim were wonderful sales associates and very helpful. Kim helped with color matching the paint cards that I had from Home Deport to pick the perfect color to paint our accent wall. Would highly recommend this store to anyone that is looking to purchase new furniture. The prices are really good also.

I have been in this store for about 45 minutes and still havent been greeted. Two ladies have spent the passed 10 minutes bad mouthing a customers credit 5 feet away from me. Im also writing this while standing 5 feet from an employee sitting on a couch texting. I just want some living room furniture

I bought a couch from the Port Charlotte store. It has been horrible. Every couch we get, there is something wrong with it. We are now on our 3rd couch. And they wont return it because it has been more than 7 days. So I suggest buying from a different company.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!! If you are foolish enough to purchase from Furniture Warehouse, PLEASE be sure to read every last letter of fine print and DONT listen to anything the salesperson says verbally, because that doesnt count for anything.
