Island Pharmacy is like the old fashioned Mom & Pop store. They actually spend time and talk to you about any problems you may have. They have been very helpful to me. Many months ago I stopped using CVS across the street because it took forever and day to pick up a RX. (I always thought they wanted you to shop the rest of the store if they dragged their feet with your RX. Of course you need a special discount card to get the best price, and of course they dont have a clue who you are even though you have been getting your RX filled their for years. Then they seemed like they did you a favor by getting your RX. I switched to Walgreens off island and the result was not much better. They tout Drive-Thru service, but I have waited 20-25 mins for someone to acknowledge that I was there. Pushing the Call Button seemed to make the solo Pharmacist upset as if to say "Cant you see Im busy?" The final blow was when my RX was partially filled (Out of Stock) but I was charged as if filled and told to return the next day for the balance. I love to visit Island Pharmacy, Reggie (owner) himself will greet you by name each time. They are happy to take your RX and it will be ready as promised or you can wait (rarely more than 5 mins). They will stop what their doing and take care of you. I highly recommend Island Pharmacy and have not set foot in CVS in over a year. I Dont need their Chinese made junque! Long live Island Pharmacy, Reggie, and his wonderful crew!

This is THE pharmacy do go to. They have made their name for service to their clients. These are the circumstances why I switched to "Reggie". Last year I had a UTI and brought my RX to the RIVAL, big chain. The pharmacist told me it was the holiday weekend and I would have to wait 3 days for the antibiotic to arrive from Ft. Myers. When I said, "What kind of service is that?" The gentleman replied, "You want service? There is no service here from Dec through March. I am the only pharmacist!!" In truth, that same big-chain pharmacist has a competent woman working in his place now. But since I have a drug plan I pay the same co-pay in whichever pharmacy i get my RXs filled. Reggie at Island Pharmacy will give you service.
