I originally came in to look at a truck I had seen online, but ended up leaving with my DREAM truck. Tony and Harmon are the best, they got me in a beautiful truck and kept my payments & down payment very close to what I was asking for. They werent at all pushy and even better they treated me like a person, not just a "woman" who needed her husband to pick out a truck for her. Every other place I went to spent the entire time trying to show my husband trucks, asking his opinion, or wanting me to "go get him." The entire process was a nightmare and I had basically given up finding anything. I was so sure that I was wasting my time that I actually filled my truck up with gas on the way there. I was that sure that I would be driving it back home. Luckily for me I had some great salesman that worked hard to get me financed on the perfect truck. I would recommend Universal Auto sales to anyone, I know I will definitely never shop anywhere else. Make sure you ask for Tony or Harmon. Thanks again guys =)

Started out as a typical sale, truck broke down five miles from the house. They said they would take care of it which lead me down the path of many lies and mis directions. Two months later i have no truck and they refused to give me another truck or my money back. When they finally gave me the truck back, broke down again two days later, took it to another shop. Came to find out everything they said they were going to fix, never got done, parts were left loose, old gaskets were used among other things that they said were replaced. They offered a rental car, but didnt want to pay for the truck i needed, and i had to pay for it and they would try and reimburse me. When it came to getting my hard tag, took them three months to get it. I ended up having to drive a week with an expired tag because law doesnt allow more then two temp tags. If you buy from here be prepared to fix else where

I would like to take this opportunity to write a review for Harmon and Tony at Universal Auto Sales of Plant City, FL at 2009 W. Baker St. Plant City, FL. Our salesman, Harmon Byrd, was extremely knowledgeable, honest and pleasant. Harmon went over and beyond the call of duty to get us in the right car at the best possible price. The entire experience was accomplished in a short and reasonable amount of time. I would also like to mention that we were treated with such respect, which meant so much to us. I will do business again with Harmon and Tony at Universal Auto Sales of Plant City and I highly recommend anyone reading this review to do the same. Universal Auto Sales really took care of me and my needs. They were all very understanding and never once did I get a "bad vibe" from them that they were trying to pull one over on me. Coincidentally after I got my car, I came to find out that my co-worker had also purchased his car there and had rave reviews for them and their facility as well. They helped me to find a better loan option that helped to save me money. They were so sweet to me and my son who was there & getting super bored. They had a little bucket of hotwheels for him to play with and even made it a point to give him one to take with us when we left (in my new car none the less! :) ) These guys are just all around good & trust worthly people. You wont regret purchasing your car from them.

I am not hesitant to refer my friends who are looking for reliable transportation. I expected my credit to be somewhat of a problem, when as it turned out, the guys at Universal helped make my car buying experience a surreal moment. From my experience with them, I realized there are still dealers willing to treat you with concern rather than just getting you into a contract. No problem was too big for them, and now we have our Scion, which is a perfect first time purchase and car for myself and my family. They spent an entire day working on getting us into a car when no one else would. Besides being hard workers they are extremely personable and were great to talk to.
