Terrible customer service, I just went there trying to buy a gun and they had only one guy behind the counter, he was showing a guy every rifle they had in stock one by one and instead of asking me did I need help or even acknowledging that I was standing there, he just ignored me, so....... I called a manager and reported him!!!!!

I go mostly for fishing/boating supplies. They have a very good selection and lower than average prices competitive even with big discount stores. Sales people are friendly and helpful locating items but most are not knowledgeable enough to explain anything about what they sell. If you know what you want its a great place to shop.

I absolutely love this store, good prices- usually they can easily beat the competition- especially if you watch for sales. Good service, and they can easily have enough employees not to have a long wait time- unless you are looking at firearms. Then you will generally have a wait.

Very good selection and prices. But it takes a very long time to purchase a firearm. Kind of a hassle to go back to the front to purchase a background check. Then back to the guns and ammo to buy your firearm. Only place that i go that charges you to get a background check.

Academy is our go to place for anything outdoors! They have the best prices around by leaps and bounds, as well as excellent customer service. We buy all of our baseball, soccer, camping, and even shoes here. If you are athletic or outdoorsy at all, this is the place for you!

No assistance available. It took five minutes to find someone to pull down a pair of shoes off the top shelf . One register lane open with a long line and employees standing around folding shirts. Good prioritizing of tasks. Ignore the customer and fold the shirts.

I love shopping at this place. Not once have I ever felt ignored or had to wait too long to be helped. The staff is knowledgeable and experienced. Service comes with a smile here and the store is well stocked and well organized.
