THIS REVIEW WAS ORIGINALLY POSTED ON 11/17/2012 UPDATED ON 12/2/2015 This is Whole Foods Markets latest addition to South Florida. Sadly, the store doesnt dazzle and impress like the typical new WFM models. One great example is the WFM in North Bethesda, Maryland. With all that said, its not like the store is a disaster. Compared to some of the other South Florida stores, this one is cleanest and best organized. This store pretty much holds the same amount of merchandise and carries the semi expanded lines that the Coral Gables store does but their prepared foods section is pitiful. Observed prices were mostly the same with a few notable exceptions which were lower than the, what I think are already reasonable, prices at the WFM in Coral Gables. Too much of the produce at all WFM in South Florida is a let down. I truly find higher quality romaine hearts (same brand), baby cut carrots (same brand), celery, pineapple and tomatoes at Walmart! And why cant Whole Foods sell guava when its in season!? Blah. The cashiers and majority of employees scuttling around were lifeless, devoid of that glowing Whole Foods personality and otherwise boring and indifferent about life in an organic wonderland complete with indoor plants--and a 20% discount. The cashier that goes by the name of Martin was super slow and I think hes a mute or some sort of mutated GMO. Hes definitely not going to be certified by the NONGMO Project!!!!1 All in all, not a bad store, the management just needs to weed out these really pitiful excuses of workers. Why oh why is it so hard to find good help these days!? Maybe in this economy most of those out of work people are just the terrible ones that are clueless about providing genuine service?!

Very disappointed with this location. Im a frequent customer because this is the closest location to me and I find that theres a lot of fruits that have white mold that the store doesnt even care to remove. I complained before to store manager and showed her the strawberries, went back the next day and a lot of strawberries with white mold were still on the table. I find this with many fruits even today, you have to carefully inspect them. Regarding the deli, Ive had the Stromboli only once before and the dough was not cooked all the way through, it was raw. I frequently buy samosas which are really good, but sometimes theyre even raw and I have to return them. This location really needs better management. Its the only location in Southwest Broward. Its Whole Foods where you pay a bit more for fresher, organic, quality food and produce, but this location is not the case so far. What really keeps me coming back is the friendly staff, eco-friendly environment and no hassle lines.

If I can give this store a negative ZERO, I would in terms of the front customer service area - customer service. On two separate occasions I have shopped there and checked out at the customer service desk. And when I tell you the girls up there have something stuck up there you know what - they surely do! Bad attitudes is not the description I would give them. Worse, way worse. Im just confused as to how they are working in this part of the store with such bad attitudes. I will be emailing corporate about my experiences.

Had my first racists encounter there the cashier put the corn bread right on the table Belt when my hands were empty nd instead of putting it in my hand while I was reaching out to grab the corn bread from her while saying thank you, she immediately put it Down. I said have a great night loud so I knew she heard me and it was very clear, she still said nothing back so I said thats very disrespectful and walked away very poor customer service smh

Amazing stuff! I love the store.. But they need to improve their customer service and speed.. Especially in the smoothie and drinks counter. They take too long to notice you and say they will be right with you. Or take too long to get your smoothie started. At times Im the only one there and still takes 10min to get my smoothie. It has never been a quick in and out for me, theres always a wait.

This is my favorite Whole Foods in South FL. The staff is very nice; for instance, every time I see that they have a new fruit, the staff gives me a sample to taste it prior to buying - I always end up buying it! I love this place, and I highly recommend it if you are trying to pursue a healthy lifestyle.

This is an excellent location for Whole Foods. It is not quite as crowded as other locations. Parking is also easier than other Whole Foods locations I have been to. If you have small children, keep in mind that they have only three race car carts. If you see one in the parking lot, grab it.

They have everything I am looking for and always have new products to try. The gluten-free choices are varied and you can trust that anything edible wont have hydrogenated oils in them! The team members are always helpful and you can special order almost anything if its out of stock.

Theres a lot of stuff to buy there; they dont just sell food, but they also sell other things like incense. They also have a deli that serves pizza and has a salad bar, and once you get your food you can eat in the covered outdoor seating area. Weve gone a few times just to get pizza.

Excellent employees, and amazingly fresh food. I used to complain about the prices, but now I realize the quality of what you get is well worth it. I love to come here for lunch, SPECTACULAR sushi and lobster bisque!

It is a nice store, but there is a total lack of support for local food producers, their bread is gooey, chewy and it falls apart when you get it out of the bag, they need to get in better bread...

Although this location is not large as others, its nestled in a convenient Plaza off the I-75 exit. It still offers your usual staple panty necessities along with a cold/hot bar for a quick bite.

They have some things that are hard to find elsewhere (like Republic of Tea). Prices are high, but stores are very clean, staff is very helpful, and never wait long in line.
