Such an epic experience! I went to the shop looking to get new free-diving gear for work. I had a lot of questions so I walked up to the front counter. Both team members asked if they could assist in anyway, so I started talking to Anai about what I was looking for. She came around the counter and walked throughout the store with me. She pulled products from the shelves for me try on, compared prices and quality, all with a solid smile and good vibes. I picked her brain for over an hour on countless products, and she was just as patient, kind and welcoming as the minute I walked through the doors. She was extremely knowledgeable on every single thing I asked about, and was able to offer personal experience with some of the items; which was even more helpful! At checkout, she was able to give me a discount because the store was offering some promotions at the time; this was very kind because I didnt know about the promotions so she could have just charged the full amount. Not only did we talk about the gear I was checking out, we were able to converse about what I do for work and other things! It was the best customer experience Ive ever had, ever! *side-note* the gear is absolutely immaculate and I couldnt be any happier with it! Thank you so so much Anai!!

The equip. they sell is decent, the facility is nice, and I greatly appreciate the merchandise is price as marked, as opposed to going into a shop with inflated or no pricing, and then offer discounts - I want to know the price, pay, and leave. One experience - I went to get a dive flag and they were out of dive flags ( I was suprised...dive shop) but more so was the manner in how I was told from person behind counter where spearguns located (as though im putting that person out to tell me this). you would figure a brief apology and also advise when some will be in - did not get any of that - and im suppose to spend money here. Anyway, went back two more times ( only b/c other dive shop experiences not much better) and the help I got (different people) was 180 - totally helpful and got what i needed. Recently called about regulator annual inspection - person on phone (dont know if the same person from first experience ) sounded again put off that they had to tell me price and that it takes 2-3 weeks. 2 to 3 weeks - I thought was weak support for a shop that has such a professional apperance inside and out.

Stopped by on my way home from work to pick up a pair of swim goggles. Having purchased suits, fins and masks before, I knew they had what I wanted. I walked up to the front door and it was locked. My watch had 6:58pm and I knocked to get the attention of the kid at the counter. At first, he tried to avoid noticing me but I kept knocking to get his attention. When he obviously couldnt ignor the knocking any longer, he waved his arms to indicate that they were closing. I then pointed to the hours that they had posted on the door that showed that they close at 7:00pm, he then looked over to another empoyee before turning back to me to say that the register was closed. In an attempt to make the intended transaction simple, I pulled a $20 bill out and said that all I wanted was a $15 pair of swim goggles and they could keep the change. Their response: I think you can you can find them at Sports Authority. All I wanted was a pair of $15 swim goggles in exchange for $20 in cash. From now on, I will go to Sports Authority (or elsewhere) and NEVER patronize Divers Direct again.

Weve only been to this Divers Direct one time. We usually frequent the one in Key Largo on our way into the Keys, and we used to use the one in Orlando area before it closed. We are from Michigan and vacation in Florida at least once and up to three times a year. We go for the great weather and the diving. We have spent thousands at Divers Direct. They have always been very helpful to us at every store. They have been quick to help fix problems and weve been able to get exactly what weve wanted when we go there. We stop there every time we are down...even if we dont have plans to buy something.

Great experience after great experience. Each time I have been into the west Palm Divers Direct over the last two years I have been here I have had exceptional help. The people that work here are enthusiastic and helpful. I recently moved to Florida and have had to purchase and or update all of my gear from tanks to regs to computers. Each time I have had someone help me to find the best gear within my budget. The last item was a custom order speargun that the manager (Jared) called the company for me and even had one of his guys go pick it up from the local builder for me. Great job guys.

By far the worst dive shop in the area...called them to make sure they could fill some tanks for me because it was getting late...called at 540 pm said I would be there in 20 mins.....no problem we can do it.....get there at 605, unload 8 tanks and walk in the door with them....oh sorry we dont fill tanks an hour before close...but I called to make sure and you said no problem.....well nope sorry...AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST!!!!Went down the street to force e scuba...they are more than willing to take my business....I will never go to a divers direct again.....support local shops

I love the selection and prices, and the service, as well. The only thing that bothers me is that I have been doing business with the shop for a year and it seems that none of the employes that were there a year ago still work in the store. That is about 10 people. Is it typical of the industry, Florida, or this store? I like personal professional relationships with those I deal with, especially in life support equipment. This review sounds too critical, but shouldnt be taken that way. I still do business with them and gave them a deserved 4 stars.

Once again, had a great experience visiting your location. We had time to kill between a BHB dive and night dive. So where is a better place to kill some time but Divers Direct. As usual, the staff was very friendly and helpful when we were looking for certain items or just asking random questions on different items.

Went to buy a wetsuit and their inventory was huge. I found a couple nice wetsuits and ended up buying one. There was a guy who helped me at the beginning find the one original one I was looking for. I ended up buying booties and gloves as I went with the cheaper wetsuit. Overall a great experience and huge inventory.

This place is great well organized helpful staff have most items and if they are out they will get it for you asap. I mainly deal with Terry but all the staff are helpful. I would recommend this place and the service is good

Good prices and nice people. Beware of tank-fills however. Last lobster season they "changed" their policy and wouldnt fill any of my tanks because they were over 10 years old even though all of them had current VIP/Hydro.
