Mr. Appliance of Marion County is a wonderful company to do business with. As a landlord, it is important that I have a group of companies on all that I can count on to remedy problems that may arise. For all of my appliance repairs and purchases, I exclusively use Mr. Appliance because of their prompt service, friendly staff, and most importantly, a high caliber of workmanship. The technicians at Mr. Appliance take pride in their work and ensure that repairs are done properly the first time. They also have a great selection of appliances for purchase. I have purchased several refrigerators and stoves from them, and everything worked flawlessly. Delivery times are super quick; many times within just a couple hours after placing the order. Prices are very reasonable and all work/ appliances come with a generous warranty. I cannot say enough great things about Mr. Appliance of Marion County. They are truly a gem. By supporting them, I feel good to know that I am supporting a fellow small business owner.

Mr. Appliance was supposed to come out to repair my dryer. The morning appointment didnt actually start until early afternoon. It took him less than five minutes to take the back off and diagnose the problem as a blown heat fuse. He looked up the cost for replacement on his tablet and quoted me more than $200 after tax to replace the fuse. Knowing that the fuse was $10 and took seconds to replace once the back is off the dryer I refused the service. My total charge for the day was $69 for the diagnostic. I had another appliance repair person out who did a diagnostic and determined that there was nothing wrong with the dryer. They suggested I look for a problem in the electric system. After my landlord looked into it a fault was found in the breaker box. After the breaker box problem was fixed the dryer turned right on. Either the Mr. Appliance repair person was intentionally trying to rip me off or the diagnostic was completely botched. I would never recommend or rehire this company for any service.

2months ago Had a problem with the washing machine , on the rinse cycle you could here the water running but it wasnt filling or shutting off. This guy came out didnt really check anything opened up the top panel looked in and said that it needs a new control panel ( most expensive part on the machine ) .Like I said he never checked or tested anything.Having had a similer problem before that was a very simple fix I knew he was full of it so I through him out . Had M D Appliance Service from Micanopy come out and this knowledgeable fellow turned the knobs and checked all the functions and declared that he couldnt find anything wrong with it .He said that probably the switch wasnt all the way on when the problem occured. So be careful there are people out there like MR. APPLIANCE that want to sell you expensive parts that you dont need . Michael Robertson

A+++ My family and I are very happy with the service that Dan Haan from Mr. Appliance provided. They were very prompt and came right out the very day we called. Dan found the problem and fixed it on the spot. Dan was very courteous and professional, and his knowledge about our GE dishwasher and our other appliances was grade “A+”. We have already referred Dan and his company to our friends. I can’t say it enough, if you’re looking for a reliable and good priced company to fix your appliance problems without worry, Dan and his company are the ones you will want. PS… We were having a small problem with our GE refrigerator at the time, and Dan fixed the problem, and provided us with information and direction as to how to keep it from happening again. This place deaerves no bussiness. The owner is bi-polar who treats his employees like garbage. All he cares about is how much money he can make. His office staff (which consists of his family) is just as bad. They want their techs to give 100% but ignore them, dont answer there phone calls, give them nasty attitude or hangs up on them. He has lost techs due to his nasty attitude. He wonders why none of his techs stay. After seeing what I have, I would never recommend them to ANYONE. I am not a customer. I would never be a customer. In the past few months almost 4 of his employees have left him due to how he treats his employees. He is arrogant and nasty.

Couldnt be more satisfied... My 20 year old refrigerator was beginning to fail to cool properly.. What I thought could be a serious issue was determined to be a minor problem that was fixed in a few minutes... On another occasion I had an upright freezer that suddenly stopped cooling; Mr. Appliance was able to quickly analyze the problem, determine what minor part needed replacing, and had my freezer back in working condition without any loss of the contents.... Theyre there when you need them. I would trust no other appliance service company.

Asked for morning appointment; they assigned me 11:15 - 1P. No show. Called for a status report at 1:10 and was rudely informed it would be at least another hour before tech would be here. Asked what the purpose of the appointment window was if they werent going to honor it. Was told they "try" to honor it. Asked why they didnt have the courtesy to call and let me know tech was running late - no answer. Asked what they were going to do to make up for wasting two hours of my time - answer was "nothing." Chose a different company.

We had an issue with water accumulating under the cooling tray on our Samsung refrigerator. Apparently there is a unit that tends to freeze up or get clogged up with particles behind the interior back wall. Once the repairman took it apart and melted the ice and cleaned out the debris it has been working fine. They were there within 24 hours (this was not an emergency) and the repairman even took the time to clean out the lint in the back of the refrigerator and make sure we were good for at least another year.

Will not use or reccomend them!! Door fell off told me they temporarily fixed it. The fridge was still freezing & cooling when arrived, when they left fridge no longer worked. Came back out & told me they told me that was going to happpen & wasnt their fault. If tech would have taken a min. to actually look at it he would have found out he didnt have plug all the way in under fridge. Also told me no parts were available. I found everything I needed online last night to fix it.

We had a new dishwasher installed. We are VERY pleased with the installation. So much so that were about to have them install an over the range microwave. I think these guys are GREAT!! Ive already recommended them to other people in the area. The showed up when they said theyd show up, they took very little time. Our tech, Jen installed the dishwasher correctly, and in a short amount of time. Everything works, everythings great! Very professional!

Office staff rude and does not know how to call when behind, fail to talk as a team and tends to have staff that covers up for mistakes or not calling. Dont know on techs due to they never made it out because staff put blame on customers and stated they are yelling when they are not. Suggested that they record their calls to track whom has poor skills dealing with issues. Best of luck!
