I was looking for a christmas present for my husband, who is an avid mountain biker. After explaining to the owner, Jack, about a bad experience I had at a bike shop close to home, he assured he would help me out. He promised the product would be in my tight budget, so I agreed to purchase over the phone and pick up in a couple of days. After my hour-long drive to this place, I was given my receipt, and I was stunned to find my credit card was charged a larger amount than was agreed upon. Conveniently, Jack was not there for me to ask why! I left a message for him to call me for an explanation.. when Jack finally called back, he had the audacity to yell at me and told me to basically get over the fact that it was a misunderstanding. MISUNDERSTANDING? You failed to mention that my card was being charged a different amount than what we agreed on!!! Does this sound like a good business move? My husband will be happy about the gift, but will be very upset when I tell him what happened. He will make sure to let all his bike buddies at Olita and Markum Parks know to avoid this unprofessional and deceptive excuse of an establishment. If you are looking for good customer service, DO NOT GO TO THIS BIKE SHOP!!

Ive been going to MBBC since I started riding and Ive never had a bad experience there. The staff is very friendly, informative, and always willing to help you out. Most recently, I went in to get fit on my road bike. First, I filled out my information and answered a few questions about my riding habits. The technician made sure to understand the type of rider I was before jumping right in to making adjustments. Then, I got on my bike (while on a trainer) and began pedaling. From there, all of these measurements were taken and the technician carefully made a bunch of adjustments (both minor and major). By the end, he made sure I was comfortable on the adjusted bike before I left. When I took the bike out for a ride the next morning, I felt like I was riding a brand new bike. Everything, from the seat height to the angle between the handlebars and brake handles, was perfect and comfortable. The entire process took about an hour, and most of that time was spent informing me about the changes they were making because I had never had a bike fitting before. I would highly recommend MBBC for anything bike-related: whether it be a fitting, bike/clothing purchase, or even a city bike rental.

Bike Fitting; Had my Quintana Roo TT bike fitted by these guys last week. I have an Ironman next month and started having some pain in my foot. I wanted a certified guy, not some fellow who thinks he knows what might have changed to create discomfort. Danny is indeed certified and gave me complete and total attention during the fitting. No interruptions, no "hang on while I get this other customer." Loved it. He measured absolutely everything there was to measure, with the exception of barometric pressure and humidity. He kept record of those measurements so that we could return to them if something didnt work. He lowered my seat a bit, changed the angle and then noticed my left aerobar was spaced differently from my right. He fixed that, and bingo. No pain anymore on my upper back. I didnt even know the aerobat was a problem. Foot discomfort has resided as well. i highly recommend these guys. It took me over an hour to get there and an hour to get back, but its not a trip you have to do every day. The journey was worth it. Nice guy, professional, knew his stuff backwards and forwards. Very pleased with the process and the result.

So, like when you leave something in a cab or a hotel it’s gone forever? So is the same with Miami Beach Bicycle Center!! I left my Chill Insulated Water bottle (With ice & water in it) ON MY BIKE that I had left for service on Dec. 7, 2016. I walked around for hours and when I picked it up I was tired and it wasn’t until I was done talking about potential business with a shop across the street that I noticed it was no longer on the bike. I didn’t take it with me because I knew I had to wait hours for the repair. However they claim ‘no knowledge and doubt I ever actually had it!! AVOID MIAMI BEACH BICYCLE CENTER at ALL COSTS! Do not go to 5th in Miami Beach. GO ELSEWHERE! I’d try The Miami Bicycle and Pro Shop on Biscayne Blvd & 18th St. Dealt with them before, should’ve rode across the Venetian to them! I’ll know better next time! I was reminded when the owner of Miami Beach Bicycle Center had a shipment of bad tires, after the second one came apart under normal conditions he would not stand behind his product. He claimed it wasn’t his fault even though HE SOLD the merchandise! As I said; AVOID MIAMI BEACH BICYCLE CENTER!

The worst and crappy shop from all Ive seen in Miami, Hollywood, Aventura, etc. They do not return the goods! And no one says it! If you buy, for example, bicycle shoe, and later realized that its not your size - congratulations! You can not pass them back. Plus - they have the highest prices Ive ever met in Florida. And they do not discount! They say that is the best price)), for example on ebay it costs $ 80-90, they have - $ 180. Sellers do not have to do any work, you, they can walk past you and go about their business. The question - do you have in stock Shimano XTR pedal - he looked at the counter and said - no, they are not. While they were hanging on the stand and hes just too lazy to look at the bench, or check them in the database. In other stores - Fusion Pro Bikes, Big Wheels, RB Cycle, etc. will always give a good discount, there sellers normally communicate with the buyer and may give a discount of up to 30%.. This is really the worst store of all seen.
