Merritt Square Mall seems to be getting run down and has a very tired look. Others must feel the same way because they just renovated and built a new Sports Authority store not long ago and theyre already out of business. I read that the Merritt Square Mall is under bankruptcy hearing and it is very apparent by the way its maintained. You can tell theres not many people as before going there. And many of the mall employees and store employees dont have very nice attitudes.

A small but friendly mall. Kinda limited in selection of stores but still a good place to shop. Parking is abundant and recently, more stores and services have been popping up inside. The mall itself is very tidy and very secure. All of the store owners are friendly and kind. The restrooms however do feel a bit hard to find and a little limited when comparing to the malls size but thankfully its never crowded so waiting for a restroom is never an issue.

The Merritt Square Mall was great and provided lots of shopping experiences for everyones needs. Although it isnt the biggest mall ever, it is very convenient for everyone on Merritt Island. You can get pretty much anything there, from phone cases to clothing, you can satisfy your want for new items here. BONUS: a store called Hot Topic sells everything for your fandom needs, to those who have fandoms but cant find any fandom merch.

Ill give mall four stars. I went to Sears to have batteries replaced in four watches.This is the best place to go for battery replacement. The gentleman that works there is really nice and hes fast. I went to Macys and of course I had great service at the Macys there. I went to Dillards and I cannot get anyone to wait me in households items. I wanted to purchase Mud Pie so I stop by Melbourne Square on my way home.

This is like the worst mall Ive been to in my entire life. It used to have good stores but its going down hill FAST. The good things theres right now are the movie theatre, Chick fil a, and Macys. Other than that, cant think of a store I like - and those arent even my favorites. Youll go there expecting options and leave disappointed, as I have many times since I apparently cant learn my lessons.

They are trying, but bankruptcy is looming just because the space coast economy is in the crapper. It can be busy but is never crowded. Even the anchor stores (Sears, Pennys, Macys) seem dated, and its hard to say whether more people will drive the updates, or whether doing updates will bring the people back. The big hope is an economic recovery when we can change administration.

This a feat place to go to if you are staying at cocoa, Merritt Island, or Cocoa Beach, it has a movie theater, shopping areas for clothes and even items and collectables too. Great place to go but the Cobb theire food is on the expensive side so I suggest getting candy at conviently stores and make sure the staff do not see the candy in your pocket(s).

The best thing about Merritt Square Mall is its theatres and history. Built in the 1970s the mall was thriving and busy, but its struggling to keep up with the Orlando Shopping area which is much closer than it used to be. Its still a convenient shopping area for locals, but its dated and needs some new ideas and management I suppose.

This mall is close to home and has almost everything you need. The downfall of this mall is that it is old. It needs to be renovated to keep up with other malls. It also seems to have stores opening and closing quite frequently. This makes for a big letdown when you expect to buy something from a store that no longer exists.

Its so small it takes effort to get lost. Theres a few vacancies and most new stores seem to go out of business very quickly. Most go to this mall not for the mall experience , but to visit stores that happen to be in the mall, which in it of themselves are good. The overall place is clean and looks good.

Im a huge gamer & comic book fan. So GameStop & Islander Comics are 2 of my absolute favorites plus theres an IMAX theater, plus plenty of stores that could accommodate any local or tourist (Merritt Island Mall is part of a Carnival Excursion). Heavily recommended this cozy yet very accommodating mall.

This mall would be SO MUCH BETTER if the who mall looked like the movie theater. The Chinese food is horrible, it doesnt matter between the two places. The floors and doors and tables are usually clean. This is a OKAY place to shop, kinda small. Wish the state or county would put more store inside.

Merritt Square Mall has four anchor stores: JC Penney, Dillards, Macys, and Sears. There is also a Ruby Tuesdays restaurant as well as a food court opposite the movie theater. It offers convenient shopping during reasonable hours, with sales clerks in most stores who are pleasant and efficient.

Ruby Tuesdays in mall was terrible. First they completely forgot to bring appetizer we ordered then the made our orders completely opposite from what we asked for. I ordered my burger medium and my wife order well. Hers was a bloody mess and mine was nearly burnt. They were friendly though

Not impressed. I know malls like this are dying out, but this one is truly on its way out. Or at least I assume it is. Its dingy and there are a lot of empty stores. There are a few shops that are worth my time, like bath and body or jcpenny. Even then I prefer to go to other locations.

I love the mall and its friendly environment but one real thing bugs me... The inability for a store to stay open for more than a few months. The mall is pretty popular but if the prices to rent each space were lower, companies would be able to afford to stay for a longer time.

Decent mall but seems like its going down hill. I hope they can turn it around because its really nice to have in the area. But the movie theater is smelly and the screens actually have dust and dirt on them. The main redeaming quality is the Chic-fil-a in the food court.

The main anchor store in this mall is Macys. The nice thing is it is very well organized and although a small store as far as Macys goes it still seems to have the same selections as the larger malls in Orlando. When your done shopping just a few miles to walk on Cocoa Beach.

This is alright of a mall. It really doesnt have many stores. The food court is just about the largest highlight of this mall. People from all the defense contractors in the area pack the food court on weekdays. However, be careful this area is not the safest Ive seen.

forget this place. 3 or 4 trips and the criminals will be videoing you while they steel your food or purse. dirty people walk in from outside in the bushes and grab your food . no body calls security to help. disrespectfull employees trying to start trouble .
