It is what I would describe as a very small mall. The majority of retail stores located within it as are clothing stores and this is perhaps my only major criticism. It lacks variety and contains very few draw-cards for anyone who just looking to do a bit of window shopping or have a day out. The operating hours are also very peculiar, with it only having its stores open up around mid-day on weekends. All that being said, it is clean and well maintained for what it is. The indoor food court has a fairly good mix of chain-stores with a fairly heavy focus on Asian food in particular. Dont expect to catch a movie, do any grocery shopping or pickup any medical supplies as there is no representation in these departments at this mall. You can, as mentioned before, shop for clothing, jewelry, accessories and entertainment media.

The mall is clean and has a good variety of stores both inside the mall, as well as surrounding it. There is an enclosed childrens play area with slides and other toddler-friendly items - this is free which is a nice touch. My toddler had a great time playing by himself and with others while we waited for my wife to finish up some shopping. The other mall-provided vending (games of chance to win rubber duckies ($1), a train that toddlers can ride inside while it goes in a very small circle ($3) and various gumball machines are all overpriced, even for a mall. But theyre all nice round $$ numbers so I guess thats good. No one wants to walk around carrying change after spending $.75 or $.50 winning a rubber ducky.

DONT TAKE PICTURES HERE EVEN FOR GOOGLE MAPS and even. I was told by security that I HAD to give them my phone because I took pics inside the mall. When I told them no, they threatened to call the police. I said go ahead, I did not engage in any illegal activity and they did not have the right to even look at my phone. They backed off but told me I would HAVE to contact mall offices the following Monday or they would prosecute me. I said Nice scare tactic but you dont even know my name. Now please leave me alone to finish shopping. I am sure the stores would be very unhappy if I return the more than$100 in purchases I have already made today because of you

The mall concept is a "dead horse". Brick and Mortar department stores are just depressing to go into now. Listless sales people feign interest at your patronage of their dead end store that has trouble making a profit with never ending clearance sales on overpriced and unnecessary merchandise. Do you want a Martha Stewart juicer for that diet youve been meaning to start? It only $150 this week. No? Oh, you will wait for the "60% off Fourth of July Extravaganza SALE"? Good thinking. You know your temperature controlled mini-storage needs another box to complete the set.

The Melbourne Mall is certainly better than the Merritt Island Mall. It has a good selection of places to eat and shop at, and Im sure you can find what youre looking for. However, if youre looking for the higher end stores or really unique places, youre gonna have to go out of town for that. Parking is also really bad here, somehow, someway. No matter what day and time or the week it is, chances are, youre gonna have to walk your shopping off before you even spend your money. But its still one of the best mall Brevard countys got. So thats gotta count for something.

Its a small mall but I think its just right, for some basic shopping needs and gifts. They have a Macys, JCPenny, and a few of my favorites: H&M, Charlotte Russe, Rue21... out side of the small there is a great selection of restaurants and the food court is pretty diverse with Chinese food, Moes, Chick-fil-A, and you cant go wrong with Starbucks! I would say the toddler carts are WAY too expensive BUT they have a cute childrens area which is awesome for kids to burn some energy. And the cookies sold at the entrance arent worth the price you pay.

I love this mall- whenever I get the chance to visit, I always wind up spending much more time here than any other mall, and usually wind up having much more fun. With a great selection of stores and a wide varitey at the food court, the only downside is the "outdated" look of the mall. It looks dated in the food court, has low ceilings (compared to the smaller Indian River Mall), but if youre not hunting for a photo op, its got the best selection of stores outside of Orlando. This is one mall that I hope can pull itself together and stay open.

So this Mall is nice but thats about it, just nice. Its no offense to the Mall or the shops inside. In fact its not even their fault in my opinion. Amazon has ruined malls haha. People like feeling and seeing cloths, so the Mall does a GREAT job filling shops with apparel. However, thats really all there is and its kind of a bummer when you want to get out and do stuff. So the mall is nice and so are the shops, I just wish there was more entertainment. Although, their kids playground is a great way to wind down a kid tired of shopping lol

When this mall opened I was in high school. This mall in the last couple of years has become a joke. All the stores are leaving and even their customer service is open only for a couple of hours. The bathrooms are terrible and the outside of the mall needs a major makeover. We use to love going to the mall, but we only go about once or twice a month now. Nothing about it is fun or exciting! We use to love going during the holidays, but it seems that every year we see less and less decorations! Wow!

The mall itself is ok. Kiosk vendors are annoying and obnoxious. Since there are a lot of kiosks, you have to deal with some moron bothering you every few minutes while youre just trying to walk through the mall. A huge deterrent for me and now I only go to stores I can access from the outside. If other people are like me, the mall businesses are losing a lot of money bc of these stupid kiosks which dont bring in anywhere near as much money as actual stores. Shame.

I dont shop over there because when you buy an item you pay for the price and tax which is understandable but not a fee. Why do you have to pay a fee. I dont have money to put into the rich mans pocket. dont try to take my little money away from me for reason. I have a child to take care of and I know if I am a penny short I will not get the item so dont take my few penny for fee. Other place does not charges fee. You are a thief.

In response to the other reviews, yes of course, this mall isnt as big as Orlando Malls. But this isnt Orlando, its Melbourne. For years its been the only mall in town and now with a few competitors with the new malls in Viera and Palm Bay, it is still thriving. It has a great selection of department and bargain stores. Its a nice place to take the family and relax with out all the hustle and bustle of larger city malls. Quite nice.
