This place looks 1/4 the size from the outside and it looks like the kind of place youd find stacks of old Harlequin romances - but its not. Low and behold, I finally popped my head in and what a surprise! The place is quite large with a couple extra rooms and books are stacked floor to ceiling on well organized shelves on every subject imaginable. Most bookstores have 15-20 books on the subject but I was literally blown away with the amount of quality books they offer. Most of all, I felt like I had hit the mother-lode with the rare, out of print, hard to find and antiquarian books. This place is a true gem. I imagine that over the many years, people from up north brought their beloved and most treasured books on every subject imaginable and they somehow all ended up here. This is the kind of bookstore that people mourn when they walk into a Barnes & Noble... the kind that bibliophiles can get lost in for days, weeks, years... It is Madeira Beachs hidden treasure and I am so happy I made the decision to stop in. Excellent customer service (they let you wander without bothering you and yet can expertly answer any question should you have one) and a knowledgeable staff - you can tell they love books, too. Plan to spend a couple hours - youll be in heaven and the next time we are in the area, this will be the first place I stop on my Gulf Beaches visit.

If you are looking for classic literature, this is the place to go. Not just the familiar titles but the full work of the authors as well. LIke any good used bookstore its a total fire hazard and you may have to search for the owner when youre ready to check out, but thats part of the charm. Fair prices as well. If youre into books you need to know this place.

Great used book store with substantial inventory on about every subject. The owners are also exceptionally knowledgeable about antiquarian and out of print books as well as the publishing industry. I highly recommend DoraLynn books when searching for a title or for just spending an hour or longer browsing through this unique book shop.

This is one of the best used book store in the Tampa bay area. A real hidden gem. They have a great selection of books. If your interested in psychology, Philosophy, spirituality, religion, literature, art history and more then this is the place for you. Treat yourself to a treasure hunt in this great store.

A very wide selection of books to suit all tastes. Always a great pleasure to go hunting and find great books to fill in time while enjoying a Gulf Beach holiday. Surprise is the key, I never know what I will find but I always come away several books that make fascinating reading.
