We read the review below and were disappointed once we got there. There was LOADS of romantic fiction, and altho I DO enjoy that from time to time, it seemed like it would have been more accurately called The Barbara Delinsky Book Swap! Yes, there were some rare books, but as Im not a huge fan of 1950s childrens books of rhyme, I found nothing to interest me in that section. The trade book area is literally about 3 feet long and 3 shelves tall; and most of THOSE were romantic fiction, as well. We were the only customers, and the woman behind the counter was clearly aggravated that she had to turn off her books on tape because we were there (even tho we repeatedly said, "nope, thats fine, please dont turn it off on our account"). I thought she was just cranky, but then a regular customer came in, and she was all smiles and giggle toward him. I guess she just didnt like us? In any event, we won;t be back....still looking for a good used book store, heard about a place in Dunedin; any thoughts?

In a city where finding a decent used book store can be tough, Book Swap provides a nice little haven for the book aficionado. There is an abundance of popular (as well as rare!) books to be found. The women who work here are so nice and helpful, as well... Book Swaps trade in policy is perfect. They offer fair prices and the 50% credit usage (50% of your purchase can be used with store credit if you have it on file, then you pay the other 50%) is a smart way to maintain business. I established store credit way back in 05, moved out of town, came back in 09 and they STILL had my credit on file! Im a frequent visitor once again, and I hope to be one for years to come!

Shimmering Chimps

Aisles and aisles of cheap paperback fiction, and their nonfiction section is tiny and contains almost nothing but obscure, outdated works from the 1960s-70s. If thats what youre into, great, but its not what Id call a "great selection."

Great little book nook. I love wandering through and have found some great series I read as a kid. Great variety! They also have new and noteworthy books. I got the Maze Runner series when the movie came out.
